Come this time! You can stay at ours... There will be more though, don't you worry about that
-
When did you meet Jesus?!
-
Nah, he'll just bring one of the other trials bikes from his ever-increasing collection! Nick's bike lottery time, who's first to place a bet?!
-
Oh, and if anyone wants to buy me some Savlon spray (the yellow stuff, 50ml bottle ) as way of payment for staying, they're more than welcome...
-
Going to be nuts people One thing I could do with knowing though is who is planning on staying at ours, and when. If you could add your name/when to this list so I can get an idea of numbers, it would be much appreciated. If I don't know you're coming I can't guarantee anything! Sorry if I've missed anyone that has contacted me, but I've lost track a bit so it's not intentional! Friday Night; Darren Joe Rothwell Rich (Maybe) Saturday Night; Darren Ash Kennard Joe Rothwell Dave Pinney Jon Mack Rich (Maybe) Martin Grainger and guest (possibly)

Is Metal Magura Backings As Good As Cnc Backings.
Luke Rainbird replied to JaMmY's topic in Trials Chat
What ARE you on about? A CNC machine will kick out whatever you put into it, again and again to whatever precision the machine will go to (often as accurately as 0.0001" or more) -
In fairness they are sending out a new charger today, so should all be ok at last (though I'm not going to get my hopes up!) As I've said before, the contract I'm on is great, and on that front they are leagues ahead of everyone else, it's just the way they've failed to put right the handset issues. If I'd had a working phone throughout I'd be more than happy!

Update: 6th August - Letter to Otelo 8th August - Same letter to 3/OfCom 3 called, but hung up when I answered 9th August - 3 called, offered a handset for £20 deal again, which I declined. Offered £10 credit as good will gesture instead, I declined as not much use! 1 bar signal very briefly. Asked for manager, not done. Offered free handsets; LG U400, Nokia E61, 6280, 6630, Sony Ericsson K610i. None of which were in stock... 12th August - Called 3, told the LG U300 and Nokia E61 were in stock, but that i would need to call back for any other handset as they are not in stock. Declined due to known problems with these handsets 13th August - 3 called mobile and house, told me to call back. When I called 3, I was told I hadn't been called, despite having 2 answerphone messages saying otherwise! 14th August - 3 called, told me that the network problem was sorted, and that handsets all out of stock 20th August - I called 3, and was told there were no handsets in stock other than LG U8180, LG U300. 27th August - I called 3, who told me that the Sony Ericsson K610i was in stock, and would be sent out. Would be delivered Weds 29th august between 10am and 6pm 29th August - Phone received, will not charge. I called 3, and was told they'd replace the phone. Spoke to fault managements team, who told me that on the 27th August I was charged £50, after being told that I would certainly not be charged. I have now been told that I need to go to a 3 store and find out if it's the handset, charger or battery causing problems, then call them again to get it sorted. They've also said that they will cancel the £50 charge. I'm doubtful as to whether I'll have a working phone at any point in my contract...

A Couple Of Pics From Yesterday And Today
Luke Rainbird replied to JonMack's topic in Riding Pictures
Cool pics Jon, I like a lot Ben - I know your dirty little secret... -
You realise that that's MORE than enough for some people, right

11am at the steps by Temple Meads (or maybe the benches, but you'll see us all!)
-
That would be me Knew the tee would come in handy at some point!

Nearly all the trials forks you see in the market are made by Pulo. A fair chunk of frames (as in, most, if not all Deng stuff, some Onza, Koxx etc) is also made by Pulo/other similar manufacturer It's not necessarily a bad thing on all fronts though, for us at least, as it means that each company can give feedback to the manufacturer, which will in turn benefit every company with more knowledge on designs, materials and the like
-
Nice one dude, you ride rocks damn well, I like! Get up to the Weekender this weekend if you can (even for a day) and show us you can do it on street too...
-
Star next to your name means I'm under the impression you're staying at ours on either Friday/Saturday night, or both. Please let me know if any of this is incorrect Keep the word out there guys, this needs to be MASSIVE!
-
You were in that? Not the larger guy in a blue tee that tried to punch me by any chance?! I was in nothing but red boardies and trainers, and when he tried to hit me I stuck a shoulder to his gut and dumped him hard I was there too, was awesome! O7's where it's at...I figured everyone got out etc, otherwise it would have been silly Lessons learned; 1. Bins and bathtubs make for awesome music 2. Trials riders CAN and WILL crush anything in their path if desired 3. When you can't see further than 2ft in front of your face from all the smoke, there's no point trying to see, so don the shades (yes, even though it's 3am) and get your groove on!
-
Orange camp ***! Fence was a bit lethal though, I hope you gave the people enough time to escape before crushing their tents with the fence of doom! Lost Prophets circle pit was quality, ripped all the nearly healed patches off my arms, so back to square one on that front!! Randomly heard "Tartybikes - he's a trials rider" while I was waiting for the coach back, which led to a brief meeting with "minitrialer" on here (I think that's what he said he was called!)
-
I don't know, surely you should be telling me!You're more than welcome to, and a few of the Plymouth boys will be travelling then I think, so may as well PMd There's no specific parking at ours, though there is free on-street parking, so it'll just be a case of finding a space (shouldn't be too hard hopefully) Nick (and everyone else!) - We may as well meet there and then as usual, then work our way into town and onto wherever else Worst part of it all though is that our place is up the big hill from the centre, which sucks after a long day of riding!

Blue Tarty tee, getting bus from Bristol in an hour or so... Eyes peeled lesbians...
