  1. sure I had a 997cc Suzuki Supercarry. They wanted about £1700 to insure it, then it went down to about £500. thats good in anyones books
  2. They are just resistors in a box. They dont really work, you just overfuel. The reason REAL power chips are sooo expencive is because they are properly installed into the PCM and they Re-map the Fuleing and Ignition to provide more power. If you want to go the extra 4ft, get a Bluefin, from Superchips. This allows you to re-map your car from the cockpit, so you can choose ecconomy, or power. They arent cheap by all means, but you know they work and dont do any real damage. But you must allways remember, when modifying an engine, you MUST make sure the base unit is up to scratch, everything is working as it should and there is no wear in anything. If you dont, you will plow loads of monney into the "mods" and the engine will give up as it wasnt strong enough to cope. What engine are you modding, sometimes there are better things to do than chips 1st
  3. Pass Plus is very usefull It consists of 6 elemnts of driving. Driving for a long period of time Driving on a motorway Driving in the dark Driving in the rain and the last 2 I can never remember You can do Pass Plus upto 2 years after passing your test. Speak to your old driving instrucor. It should last about 4-6 hours, and will cost in lesson fees respectivly. My dirinv instructor done mine as a 2 hour lesson, as I had already done 5 out of 6 of the items in his lessons. So He just wanted to see me on a motorway (I had been driving for a year before I had done it, and travel all ove the country, so was easy) Speak you your instructors, they may do something similar. As for insurence, it gave me 70% off the 1st time I insured with pass plus (With CIS) It still comes in handy now, and ive been driving for almost 4 years
  4. why does my profile options give me the choise to Kidnap member, Cable tie member to sheep, and poke senor members with a sharp stick??? IS this what I get for being a premium member??? Quickly, to the hindun-Peter
  5. Old, very old, But soooooo damn good. He is a legend
  6. Oh yes, that takes me back, being a child of the Ninties. You left 1 crucial thing out. Blu Bolt Jeans, and Spliffy Hoodies.............
  7. would seem that alot of you dont really know what Pikies are. They are travelers, who have no real home, that go around the country, setting up camp where-ever they feel, and stealing/robbing/breaking/beating everything/one in the area and moving on befoer they are caught. back on subjest, chavs, townies, Barry boys
  8. Nah, not going to happen. Admin know the score, dont wanna close me off.........
  9. MEN....BEWARE!!! Police are warning all men who frequent clubs, parties and local pubs to be alert and stay cautious when offered a drink from any woman. Many females use a date rape drug on the market called "Beer." The drug is found in liquid form and is available anywhere. It comes in bottles, cans, or from taps and in large "kegs". Beer is used by female sexual predators at parties and bars to persuade their male victims to go home and sleep with them. A woman needs only to get a guy to consume a few units of Beer and then simply ask him home for no strings attached sex. Men are rendered helpless against this approach. After several beers, men will often succumb to the desires to sleep with horrific looking women whom they would never normally be attracted. After drinking beer, men often awaken with only hazy memories of exactly what happened to them the night before, often with just a vague feeling that "something bad" occurred. At other times these unfortunate men are swindled out of their life's savings, in a familiar scam known as "a relationship." In extreme cases, the female may even be shrewd enough to entrap the unsuspecting male into a longer term form of servitude and punishment referred to as "marriage." Men are much more susceptible to this scam after beer is administered and sex is offered by the predatory females. Please! Forward this warning to every male you know. If you fall victim to this "Beer" scam and the women administering it, there are male support groups where you can discuss the details of your shocking encounter with similarly victimized men. For the support group nearest you, just look up "Golf Courses" in the phone book. For a video to see how beer works click here: http://www.brackenspub.com/beer.swf
  10. It will never happern Most people on here only start fights as they know there is no reprocussions. Whats the worst you ca do, call them a cock?? Oh no, you called me a nasty name over the internet. If most people act on a ride, like they do on here, they would recive a major kicking. They wankers on here spend most of the rides sitting at the back being quiet. remember, its the internet, the only place where twats can be kings if the right people belive what they are saying. And if you dont like what somone is saying, move on
  11. Ive got 2 1st is the CD player, turns itself on and plays the album of choise. Then 5 minutes later the annoying BEEP BEEP alram kicks in. The best alrams are silent ones............
  12. only watch this as its all thats on at lunchtime in the tea room. We were sitting there laughing, and hoping that they would all die. How long can 10 mins be???
  13. yea My bank does that, they ring me when i go over my Overdraught (only £200, but then i dont want more) Id like though think I have enough control to keep the card in check. Everything will be done by standing order, so I wont miss payments, and once Ive got somethign on it, it will be hidden or possibly destroyed so I cant get in to the whole "Lets have it" attitiude. My credit is damn good, I internd on keeping that way
  14. if your really despirate, you could sand it and Use filler, they respray it
  15. Thanks for the info, I know what your saying about having the loot ect, but what I was planning to do is pay the debt off before the 0% interest deal is up, there for not loosing any money. I know I should save and buy the parts as and when, but at this time of year I have more free time to get things sorted, and make sure all is ready to put in the car. Im not one of these people who will keep buying crap, just cos I can get it on credit, chances are IF I get a card, ill buy what I need, then store or destroy the card. Also it would be nice to have it there as insurence for when I go to the Nurburgring in August.....,
  16. even if you have tubless, it wont stop glass tearing the tyre, that was the whole point of the topic. At least slime liners help protect the tube. Anyway, freebourne are a rip-off. They are based near me, and they rip you off with that kit. Go on e-bay and get a big tub of liquid latex for about £5, use a combo of duct tape, and latex to seal the spokes, and a car valve in the rim. Whole thing could be done for about £7. Last time I checked, Freebourne wanted £40-£50 for the set
  17. Yea I know they are evil, but I want to get my car sorted for the summer with a new engine. I can either save, and buy bits at a time when I can, or load it onto a credit card, and get them all at once, and possibly get a discount for bulk buy ect. Well if the interest is carried over, could I not just get another credit card iwht the same offer at the time and move it over to them?? Or will that end up costing me?
  18. Right, im thinking of applying for an EGG card to buy some parts for my car. Ive never had one before, and banking talk allways confuses me. Anyway, the say they have 0% interest on all purchases until July 1st. So does that mean if I was to buy something, I would pay no interest on the balance until then, or it would be interest free for good? Also on the repayment,s I cant make any sense of this. "minimum payment stated in your statement by the Payment Date. The minimum payment will be: the full Revolving Balance if it is less than £5, but otherwise the greater of 2% of the Revolving Balance and £5, or (if it is more) the total of (i) interest and (ii) the Card Repayment Protection premium, both as shown in your statement " Someone please simplify this so I can understand it. I know credit cards are evil, so if I get one, I will buy what I need for my car, then destroy it.
  19. that does sound like you have cooked it. You must have burnt off all the coolant, and posibly alot of oil. Without looking at it I cant tell you exactly what to do. Maybe a new engine is the only way out.
  20. Worthing Gun Shop, Broadwater. Its in-between a party and Bridal shops.
  21. mike even im going to call you a tit for that remark......
  22. Are you sure that the Garage isnt having your pants down?? Do you even know for sure the head gasket has gone? If the Hi-Jet is like the Supercarry (I used to own one) an engine change would be very simple. For ally you know it could be something simple, or it could be something complicated. But I dout that it could need a whole engine just for cutting out, unless you were driving it while it was overheating. What were the syptoms bofore it went? Did it drive badly/overheat before?? Would be usefull to know what the engine is made of ect, will say all in the manual/haynes.
  23. make yourself a nice belt with them. Or take them to a gun shop and see if they want them, they should know a colector who would want them, could even make some loot here
  24. I was expecting the pic to loads slowly, to reveal she had a massive Johnson
  25. Your hopes fade. There usually is only 1 fuse to contol the brake lights, and its usually paired with a few other systems. Bluegrass, what car do you have? Instead of taking to a garage, fix it yourself. Brake lights are a very simple circuit on most cars (all but the newest computer controled cars) Youve got the brake light switch on the pedal, fuse, bulbs, wiring, and power and earth. check you have 12v coming to the switch, and 12v coming to the bulb holder when the pedal is down (good tip here, use a long screwdriver/stick to wedge against the seat and hold the pedal down while toy check for feeds) Check that the bulb holder hasnt corroded away (comon on alot of cars) and that the earth is good. Easily done, with very little tools.
