Ali nailed the advice. Comp bikes just feel horrible unless they are in the right situation and half of them a beginner wont do. Where are you based? Us trials riders are never more than a stones throw away from each other.

Cheers for the advice. I'm not a fan of avid hydraulics one bit. Ill probably use it a few times at trail centres like Hamsterley and Glentress. Nothing severe.

So i'm in the middle of building a XC/commuter up on a budget. I've limited my gearing to 1x9 so simplicity is really the goal. Its a toss up between a set of Avid BB7 with speed dial levers,linear slick cable OR a set of the Shimano Acera M395 hydraulics. There's something nice about having a mechanical system than hydraulic but then hydraulics may be more powerful. The difference is £30 thereabout once discs and adaptors are purchased too so nothing really in it financially. Help anyone?

Sorry dude. I meant to type i prefer this Inpulse over the last one. Wasnt keen on the R26. The frame looked too "busy" if that makes any sense.

The camera on the lower end Lumia like the 520 are utter shi.....low quality but the layout and brosing etc is spot on. I paid £74.99 for mine and was completely surprised by how much you actually get.

Nokia lumia if you want to avoid any bandwagon.

So I fitted a new freewheel yesterday so thought I would have a ride to bed it in. I'm not content with the video as there's a lot of time between moves. I haven't rode properly for a while due to losing my nerve and getting old. So don't expect whopping TGS....in fact...there ain't any. The camera royally bent the image. The lines there are big (for me) and are off camber and slippy as hell. Anyways...enjoy everyone Oh and as I type this its still converting on Vimeo so give it a bit. Craig

Yup,i know how that feels. I have only just had my 5th ride in 3 years and its killing me too. Biggest problem is confidence really. Its amazing how cock sure you are when you've been riding all the time. Now suddenly everything is second guessed. Welcome back buddy!
