Doing the best you can do in GCSE's is important if you want to go to uni if i remember rightly, cos when you're filling in uni application forms, i think some of your predicted grades are based on GCSE results. Also, cos i didn't get enough A's at GCSE, i wasn't put on the list for Oxbridge application, so if this is important to you, make sure you revise.

What sort of budget are you looking at?

We had this problem in our flat last year. Doing the following seemed to help: go start>run... type in 'services.msc' and press ok Scroll down until you get to wireless configuration or wireless zero configuration double click on it. If you've got a connection at the time, change start up type to manual if it's on automatic, then click stop on service status. ok everything If this doesn't work you can set it all back to automatic and started and you should have the same situation as you started with. I do understand what he's saying, it's just that as soon as people like teachers or politicians start telling us that we should only see people, then you are going down the road to having one big global culture with none of the diversity that we have now. For example: people somewhere (i think it's a rainforest tribe) have taken to putting wooden plates under their bottom lip to artificially increase its size. Now I don't find this attractive at all, and I certainly wouldn't see someone who'd done it as just another person - i'd see them as someone who had a great big bottom lip. That would be their defining feature. This doesn't make me prejudiced against them in any way shape or form. In fact, they'd probably be chuffed i'd noticed. In a country where the majority of people are white, then we are always going to see a black person walking down the street as a black person, because this helps us differentiate between them and the millions of other people it could have been. Why on earth are people trying to say otherwise? I just can't understand it because it degrades everyone's heritage to do so.

Fair enough, but it's getting to the stage where people are afraid to use the colour of someone's skin to describe them, for fear of being racist. I agree something needs to be done, but getting narked cos someone's been called 'nigger' is not the way to go about it. if you use deionised water during the winter and you keep your bike outside for any long stretch of time, the water will freeze: it's happened to one of my mates :-. With regards to anti freeze, the jury's out on whether or not it will corrode your seals. Really it's just best to use wd40 or royal blood. Andy
