  1. Yeah, the Lession bikes look good Mongolia is a long way to import from though My Leeson took 4 months from Northampton! And thats in the uk. Dave
  2. Isis is without doubt stiffer. I had some burns on a Raceface signature xs . They were fine for 3 years. I then got a new bb for a new 24 inch frame and they didn't fit. I had to buy new arms from Middleburn at a discount price. The taper was knackered.. I always had them done up tight. Raceface evolve DH £ 40 Raceface xs signature £ 80 Isis is nice. But not without faults/floors. Happy Riding
  3. I'd be happy to give you Online Maths lessons 20 pounds an hour. Id teach you how to use The Hope calculator. That would only cost you £2.50 Working out the ERD would be expensive though Im just wondering though? How are you going to manage building the wheels? I will build them for £50 quid a pair. (Proper 10 hour job). Scary Who needs brains when youve got money! Dave
  4. I doubt it is the lightest  Mine is.
  5. I think the Onza 24 looks substandard in quality terms. Whatever wheel size i wanted, i would buy a Leeson or Curtis I'm sure some people will want the Onza to jump on the 24" bandwagon without laying out cash? UCI already has two wheel sizes to choose from Dave
  6. Its not about "Brown nosing" whats that anyway? maybe you could tell us all? ? It takes a lot of time to edit a film on a pc. The guy wasnt looking for " Steven Spielberg" points! There were a lot of requests for footage/photos of Donny's bash.......... So there you are! He has delivered the goods..........for everyone on Tf. nice one Andy! I'll look forward to viewing your video offering in the future! Only Constructive criticism of course Dave
  7. I got two pairs of Ralph Loraine socks polo or somthing like that? From my best friend Rachel who went to New York. ?
  8. Dont worry! Maybe if you dont like the media, just dont say anything at all! Top Tip
  9. Well said! Why do people have to be so rude? Andy put a lot of work into that.........i'm sure. Ps , Maybe the moderators on this site should instill warnings for bad/negative comments concerning video posts? Its not a video editing site is it? We should be lucky that we get to watch these things! Dave
  10. Danny holroyd? Fred judd, salisbury rider (weeman) Ask your brother Sam lol Fred is scary good now,,,,,,but hes not in the lime light. Dave
  11. wheels can only take so much lol Its physics. Unless we start to develop the worlds lightest/strongest wheel? Maybe with Nasa's help? Dave the thick one
  12. I read the last post! I cant quote for some reason? We are all moving on! Dont hate trials? I love hopping around. And i love fluid bmx moves. I love it all. Its all going to blend into one thing eventualy! ie seeing what can be done on two wheels! just have fun for now! if u enjoy linking street moves , go for it! I like watching/riding all styles. why make it a stress? we only do it for fun. Some people have to worry about the next meal on the table! Dave
  13. I have ridden Dan Campbels and Peter Haydons Avid mechanical disk brakes. They are scary powerful with an XTR lever. I run a v brake,,,,,,,but if i was going to convert to disc, i wouldnt bother with hydraulic. They are sharp/scary. The power is way better than a hope mini. And a lot simpler than a fluid break. Just my honest thoughts Although none of the breaks mentioned in this thread are bad! Dave

  22. When building decent/high quality wheel, a rim with a welded joint is needed It is impossible to build a wheel that will "stand" with a major week point. The rim must have a welded and pinned joint. Stay tuned for " The Truth about building wheels.............nicely"
