i have used all the echo pads and heatsinks aswell as koxx, plaz and rimjam. i can honestly say that the heatsink reds beat them all by along way, except koxx browns which come close to the performance of the heatsink reds but not quite as good.

i got a 110 on my 1065 control and it feels loads better than my 100 did. im getting a 1080 control soon and i will probably stick my 100 on that first cause i find that the ones i have riden with 110 stems feel to long for me. stems are a personal prefrence, you will just have to try different ones.

i cant understand the problem you are having ian... is your chain to long or what? i have had loads of different chains, and different gearing and i just havent had a problem with getting it right. i never had to mess about with it either, unless i hit it.
