  3. phil has said all that cause thats what dan has put accross though chai... dan has said they are not made for street. dan, when was this drop i purposly landed hard on??????? and arent viz rims just try-all rims with eyelets and a appollo grove that does feck all?
  4. so your saying that they are only natural rims?????? the rim was f**ked before the drop :S
  5. give robin mather a call, if you get a frame made by him you will have the pimpest/nicest bike on the forum by far. i was thinking of getting him to make me one but never got round to calling him and sorting it out. www.robinmathercycles.co.uk
  6. no dan. it really isnt, i wasnt actually that harsh on the rim at all, it just didnt like holding out. WTF!!!!!?!?!??!?!??!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! whats my sort of riding????? :S i ride trials like every other rider, so your saying that viz rims arent built for trials??? im confused :- dan, im not trying to have an argument, your post just makes no sence...
  7. when i saw you posted in this mr chink i knew exactly what you would be saying (Y) i used viz rims, all i can say is never again. haha. if you like your rims lasting 1 week then they are the ones for you, but otherwise noooooooooooo. chai is a smooth bastardooooo, i bloody well hope he hasnt got any dings...
  8. to be honest, im with ali c on this. i havent personally used a hope trial disc but i have felt many and i just dont see what all the hype is about them. i used a avid disc for a good 6 months and i did like it, had loads of power and i really liked the feel of it. you can also get them right how you want them feeling, ie lever reach. i did find them fading when i was stopping going down hills, but never when i was riding actual trials and it allways came back within 10mins. i wouldnt bother spending £140 on a hope trial disc, the avid does the job just as well and for a quite a lot less. use your lever you have got now and buy the avid caliper and some cheap inner and outer cable, will cost you £80 at the most.
  9. i will probably be there in the afternoon, got a exam in the morning and then i havent got any more exams for like a week. (Y) seeya there ladeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees :)
  10. thats 160, i will have to ring them to see if they can get the 180 ones...anyone ever rang them before about it? edit: shhh sam, the hayes is good. it is just going to be better on my xc bike...when ever i get the money for it (Y)" haha edit 2: did you ring crc then sam?

  16. look in the right hand side of the screen when phil is riding it, not only did he have to ride a silly thin wall and then over a bridge handrail. but he had to cope with me, john and sam messing about and making noise, hahahahahaha, hes propper pro is our phil (Y)

  18. "in 1920 a teacher was taken to court accused of teaching evolution in tennessee" "why was the teaching of evoloution banned by the goverment in 1920 then re-introduced in the 1930's?" did anyone get a question like that on the biology paper? was the very last question on our paper. didnt have a forking clue, found out it was something to do with it telling something the bible didnt teach or something, ie religion...again (Y) i can never tell how i do in exams, rather not think about it :D .
  19. pussy, you could just step off that phone box with your big 11.9 st legs :- i think there was cleary not enough of the humour (whales) from that day in the video :P , my cheeks hurt so much by the end of the day, all i wanted to do was chill out on the train home, but sam was still forking hyper and laughing at anything that went past :( LMFAO! and going on about forking whales!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 21. was talking to andy p about parking and apparently there is a place near the shell centre which has cheap all day parking, like £3 for a whole day or something. maybe it is going to be best to ride london on a w/e though, i have never riden london but im sure i have been told it is crap on a week day cause it is way to busy. if i could get to porthcawl somehow the day everyone else goes up/down would it be possible for me to catch a lift with someone for the rest of the trip? if anyone wants to be muchos kindos could you please add me to msn or something :-
