Im complete opposite. My mate grinded (? ground ?) my rim once whilst I had my plazzies and they were amazing! then it wore down so I regrinded (reground whatever) it and the plazzies were absolute sh!te put the koxx browns on and its a completly different story My browns are still going pretty well considering the appaling state of my rim

How do you do that then? Got a vid? Im right footed, hop to the right. Going left feels just odd. I can do it but dont like to. I've found however that because im right foot forward, i learn over to the right to sidehop and when I land, im putting most of my weight on my right foot: learning over to right already + more weight on the right = lots of hops to the right once ontop of the wal to get my balance back Annoying but going left feels wrong

haha Im sure i saw somewhere that someone said you could still contaminate a rim brake? Anyway I suggest boiling water and then pop your disc and pads into it and allow to boil uncovered for minimum 5 minutes couple of things to remember though: * Make sure they're your pans or if not make sure your parents are out and wont be back for a while * Make sure that the pan is MUCH bigger than the rotor of the disc. I put my disc in my pand and it was a tight fit, then ofcourse as it heated up...... * When putting your brake back together dont touch any of it lol

That is a good point, and I feel it needs my story adding to it I (learner....second time in a petrol) was coming past a church on easter sunday with my mum when we came round this blind corner. I had dropped my speed to about 20mph but not expecting much as it was quite a main road and there is a 2 solid lines in the middle of the road, but still i was watching where I was going. Anyway turn the corner, and an old fart is doing a U turn in the middle of the road on the corner so i brake pretty harshly, with clutch down but instead of him moving forward to let me go round, he slams on and handbrakes it so his wife can get out. So I had to reverse back a bit so I could get round him. If I was a passenger I would have been absolutly fuming at him, but I was too busy making sure I didn't stall etc and got away sure enough. But I mean what a dick, of all the places to turn around, a main road on a corner So remember, everyone else can't drive for sh!t

When moving off, they are much more forgiving with the clutch eg: I have stalled 8 times in my petrol after practising twice with it. With my instructors diesel i've stalled twice after 13 lessons. errr if you fail your test, don't get mad at the examiner. Wait until hes out of the car before screaming too and yeah don't get cocky and try to rush everything. It takes time, but you'll get used to it
