  1. In the wise words of Roy Walker "you're close but you're not quite right". HS33s were initially made for xc (I think) and just mtb's in general. They were just found to work well for trials. edit: plus I don't think they'd fit on u-brake mounts would they?
  2. I'm an “I ride left foot forward, but I kick a ball with my right” person and I've never had any problems with things like that. The bars sometimes turn when the gear I'm in is too high though so it could be that, try changing down a gear. Might help
  3. They're pointless anyway aren't they? Most people who have frames that come with one (Base etc) usually take them off.
  4. Yes, but you would have to put a freewheel on the front.
  5. No problemos, glad to help. Probably be best to get some more views though as I'm not too good at backwheeling myself.
  6. Try experimenting with different speeds, taking off closer to or further away from the obstacle, and putting more 'oomph' into it.
  7. Yeah there's some paper or material or something on the front wheel's spokes.
  8. Yeah I think they are called 'the jury' (bit of a stupid name but they're made to match 'the judge' frame i.e. the judge and the jury).
  9. I like the feel of maguras, although I have never really tried a really good v-brake. In response to your other question they do make adaptors so that you can use magura pads in a v-brake. p.s. it's hydraulic (not hydrolic)
  10. He mentioned an xtp in the same post so he might mean compared to that.
  11. True, but it feckin hurts if you keep doing it. I'm gonna get some as my shins look live they have been ravaged by a rather bad tempered lion.
  12. I've never tried Onza bars but Zoo bars just seem to have a nice comfy shape, they're reet stiff too + they also come in swanky colours
  13. I don't like tar so I've never used it. Not sure how they react with grids but Koxx Browns are supposed to be really good on a grind
  14. If you can't do the m4 size you could always go one size bigger and just drill your 4 bolt mounts and booster to fit
  15. Welcome to the forum That vid wasn't too bad, some good riding, how long you been riding?
  16. If you have middleburns at the moment you could just get some replacement arms and stick your middleburn bash on them, would probably work out cheaper, just an idea
