  1. I'm not too good on disc brakes but it sounds like you still have air in the system. So perhaps bleed it again.
  2. Warrington, the place dreams are made of. It's in between Manchester and Liverpool.
  3. WOW, it seems like your bike was stolen in the future, you don't see that every day
  4. I thought that when water turns into vapour due to heat it would expand and so lock your brakes on instead of them failing????? not sure though
  5. Well it was from OTN so I should have guessed
  6. Some of the geo I managed to find for the Pure: 1085 wheelbase 380 chainstay length +15 bottom bracket
  7. Awesome pics Dave I like the camera angle on the first pic, and the quality + focus is unreal. You're definately getting the hang of this photography lark.
  8. Or one of these perhaps: http://mjcycles.com/product_info.php?cPath...cc09184a1eff02b
  9. We weren't on the wrong side of the Channel when we were saving your asses in WWII though were we
  10. Hello there, I'm Stu I used to have a base mod, good solid starter bike (I've got an echo control now). Anyway, welcome to the forum and have fun
  11. Oh yeh, just noticed the mini seat. Nice bike anyway
  12. --> QUOTE(joe b @ Mar 12 2006, 03:54 PM) ←You can't just asume the Zoot will ride well, because it looks like a T-Rex (and they ride well) . Totally different geometry for totally different styles of riding... Cheers, Joe. Amen The T-rex was designed with geometry for the UCI type of riding, whereas the Zoot (I'm guessing) will have been designed with geometry aimed at a more streety type of riding.
  13. I use some Scott XC gloves, they're nice and thin and you can feel the bars well if you know what I mean. At the moment though I'm using some big thick winter gloves as my hands are puffs when it comes to the cold.
  14. It is something to worry about, your headset is loose. Undo the stem bolts>tighten the top cap>tighten the stem bolts>problem solved.
  15. Some cool pics there Would I be right in thinking that your new bike is a BT?
  16. Have a search, there's loads of topics like this. Also take a look in the pad reviews section in trials chat. I've heard only good reviews of majic pads, I'd take a look at them. Good performance and cheap as chips
  17. Yeh man, that's a beast of a film!!!!!!!!
  18. I have a 1065 Control, it took a bit of getting used to but I can now bunnyhop higher than I could on my mod.
  19. Not quite sure what you're on about there Joe, too many technical terms for me Take the wheel out, put a screwdriver in between the pads and prise them apart i.e. push them into the caliper. That should sort it, if not take it back to the shop and have them do it again.
  20. It looks similar, but I doubt that it rides anything at all like one.
  21. I'm not too sure but I think that they stopped making the mod and now only make the stock. So I think you'd only be able to get one second hand.
  22. That's true, but that's because trials uses brakes in a completely different way. In dh, freeride, xc etc brakes are used for slowing down (not locking) and so there is an issue of heat build up. Cable brakes are complete poo at dealing with heat and so thats probably why they're only really used in trials, because there's no heat build up.
