  1. 1 more vote for the control, they're really nice to ride + look good too pic of mine in my sig
  2. wank To masturbate. Often used with off. Commonwealth slang "wank", to masturbate] Used much as hack is elsewhere, as a noun denoting a clever technique or person or the result of such cleverness. May describe (negatively) the act of hacking for hacking's sake ("Quit wanking, let's go get supper!") or (more positively) a wizard. "wanky" describes something particularly clever (a person, program, or algorithm). Conversations can also get wanky when there are too many wanks involved. This excess wankiness is signalled by an overload of the "wankometer" (compare bogometer). When the wankometer overloads, the conversation's subject must be changed, or all non-wanks will leave. haha, made me laugh anyway

    New Frame

Now that my friend is what I call swanky
  4. That would probably work, however it would probably be quicker and easier to just helicoil the thread when you have drilled the bolt out (would be a stronger thread as well then)
  5. I vaguely remember the never never club. The one which sticks in my mind the most though is the Rubin Club, some bloke came in dressed as a bin and told us not to drop litter, anyone else remember this? The bin himself carried on sending me birthday cards til I was 16, which was quite odd
  6. Good call, that's what I did with mine and it made it loads easier to drill
  7. I run a control booster + a 47mm rim with a 2.5" tyre and there's still loads of clearance so you should be fine
  8. Apart from the bearings I can't really see anything that could go wrong with it, if anything were to break or be 'not good' it would be the freewheel you were running on it
  9. Yup, they sure are + the added bonus of pretty colours
  10. The cranks that you mean are middleburn rs7's, the bashguard fits to them by a lockring and then the chainring attaches to that by a standard 5 bolt fitting on the other side. However, they are around £120 so I think second hand may be the way to go. I can't really offer any alternatives sorry, don't really know any
  11. Frame flex is when the chainstays flex outwards due to the brakes being v. strong, brake boosters help to stop some of this flex, thus making your brake stronger
  12. don't be too worried about being good enough to go on rides, infact it's the best place to pick up tips and techniques etc, most people will be happy to help p.s. welcome to the forum

  14. He's good on photoshop, however, he's not psychic. Post a link to your site...........
  15. We can't all be as quick as you though Mr Mike 'Innovation' Carlin
  16. I think you should stick to stock and just throw all the money you can at that instead of two bikes. That way you would have one extremely good bike instead of two average ones. Hope I helped
  17. As far as I'm aware eno freewheels screw on just like any other cog so I think you'll be fine with that
  18. If that's the pic you mean then they're the new magura evo2 mounts
  19. Sprockets are the individual cogs that make up the cassette
  20. if it's tensioning upwards you could perhaps zip-tie it to the chainstay
  21. If you mean onzaboymark's they're the echo team cnc forks link: http://mjcycles.com/product_info.php?cPath...3316571d8ef76b7
  22. I think chain tugs would sort it as they pull on the back of the dropouts and so they would prevent the wheel from moving forward
  23. aaaah it's all becoming clear now
