  1. i think onza have a bit of a shit rep from back in the day. the old square tube mods, were pretty shite at the end of the day. but now they do some good frames at a great price/ Wold put rather have a trex over a coust anyday, even though the flame paint/stickers look crap, could get to custom painted and still have money left over for a rear king! ;) stronger to boot! mike
  2. again another sweet vid lee, nicely edited! and some really really good riding by stan ;) dunno the other guy but some cool stuff by him too! yeah in my 'trials vid' playlist mike
  3. good call, its all about fun and putting on a good show for the crowd. even saw a smile and a nod of respect from hermance after he pulled it. :P hahaha thats what i was thinking (not me though cause i haven't backflipped :ermm: ), but respect due for doing it on a stock with a 1060 wheelbase. my mate bought a vinco on sat (he is cracked the first on sat :P ) and we wanna find a foam pit to try and flip it into :P mike
  4. hayes only :ermm: yep you can still get 04 maguras, don't know where but somewhere will have one, just ring around or look secondhand, in the for sale/wanted section on here :P mike
  5. They look really nice actually. should be well made, like the cranks! but only available for hayes brakes and not many people use them on here! Mike
  6. I would look for something else, halfords is pretty crappy! Tim works there, actually thats a good thing, I can go in and use there tools like the park trueing jig. I reckon your starting wage will be crap mate, yorkshire area halfords is a bit f**ked financaly, ask Tim :ermm: But yeah you don't get that much discount either You could get at least a £5er doing admin work or working in a better shop Mike
  7. in reply to the above three posts... videos pppppppppplllllllllllleeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaassssssssssssseeeeeeeeee
  8. I guess since you want a night in, you just wanna mong out and not watch anything to heavy going... Beverly Hills Cop 1 & 2 Any of the Die Hards Day After Tomorrow Hellboy Dead End Final Destination 1 & 2 Collateral Tremors Mike
  9. yeah was sweet today!!! bloody cones  :"> :S
  10. is there! i will have to wait till i can get home and have a proper zoom in! to me (at the moment) it looks as if the there is a set of teeth to the right of the chain, but the chain is not resting on the bb shell so I looks as if there must be another freewheel there. Plus with the freewheel teeth looking bigger than the bash it seems that he would have 16/18 double freewheel. EDIT: had a zoom and it does appear to be a correct sized bash with one free wheel. thats odd that Yes he does ride UCI, but whats the point of having a bash guard if it doesn't cover the cog, may as well just not run the guard and have a freewheel. and even 'UCI riders' use there bash if the have too.
  11. hopefully the cheaper cost of this coventry place, means cheaper stands for companies meaning cheaper products for us.....
  12. the stars and stripes mech was awesome, they did a camo and leopard skin one too i think :- Straight outta 1999... :- the bike looks alright, the geo seems fairly standar , should ride well!! looks very much like a 'show bike' looking at the parts too. double free wheel (but with gears, kinda pointless) and does that bash even cover the chan on the bigger cog. no back brake to show the lovely cnc'ed bits! mike
  13. rossi has snapped or bent pretty much every fork out there...
  14. thats not a bad first effort dude! way better than my first go. its some good angles (especially of phil) probably loose the 'dither dissolve' fade between clips. use the cross fade if you can (never used movie maker) :P mike
  15. yeah it doesn't tell you!!! you just have to wait it out ! mike
  16. not yet dude!! tried downloading the album it was from 'up the bracket' but it wasn't on the release i am downloading, it was a bonus track or something ggggggggaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrr mike
  17. I need 'What a waster 'by The Libertines for a vid I am making, does anyone one have the an mp3 they could send me please (Y) many thanks mike
  18. an ashton justice the older mk3's are around 1040 (i think) and the new ones when they come out are nearer 1060. new ones will be £250ish mike
  19. they are too of worse looking frames i have seen in a long time! I am sure the geo is spot on. but why the kinked seat tube on the mod and sure they have beefed up the bb area on stock, but whats wrong with a plain old seat tube. looks like an exercise in pointlessness to me  mike
  20. Yeah I would go for a bb rise too. the standard 609 bb rise is +25mm. I take it you want a sorta all round trials bike that can ride parky, streety stuff too! I'd have: 380mm chainstays +20mm bb rise 74 degree head angle, a bit tighter than ashton make the steerer a bit quicker and it will feel nice on too wheels (maybe push it too 74.5, if you wanna go really bmxy) 1025mm wheelbase (the tighter headangle will mean it will feel similar (reach wise) to 1030 with 73 head angle) plus a shorter wheelbase will be better on ramps! and run it will a 80mm-100mm stem depending on how streety/trialsy you want it  mike
  21. you sure dude? mine is 1030! and 78 degrees is hella steep dude, most bmx's have 75 at most! mike
  22. Alright Dudes! Heres some random footage from the Indoor Bike Battle in wales (I hope Tom doesn't mind me posting this, it shows how good the course was) Its only of round 2 and some random clips, because we decided to ride up a hhhhhuuuuggggeeeee hill for no real reason!! Hosted on Eengoedidee because the shack is down, will put on it asap  eengoedidee link music - AFI: Malleus Maleficarum er...enjoy bye mike EDIT - SHACKED
