  11. all my riding has got better since the move to 24" but maybe i have got better in general (Y) (Y) all my mates say i look wierd on a 26" now :( !! i would worry about your height really because botth leeson and curtis can make longer 24" I am about 6 foot (just under i think) and 24" fits me fine. Its less to do with the wheel size and more to do with the cockpit length! I mean we all know that longer bikes are better for bigger gaps and more trialsy moves! 24" are short and streety and flicky and fun :o but put TRA on a 24" with the same cockpit length as one of his longer bike and he will be able to gap just as far! hope that makes some sense mike
  12. is this shorter wheelbased vinco that there is only like 2 of in the world, 1075 or something mike
  13. I am just gonna use a bit of pavement and a thin curb in my local carpark (Y) i think that should be enough! I would say anything over a around 8 inches high is class as a wall! should be fun if i can get my rear brake sorted :( Mike
  14. helmets are good! (Y) I know bucky and tom (chocolatefoot) were thankful they were wearing theirs (Y) but yeah in the month before the bikeshow i hit my head/helmet five times the worse two times i only got a headache, and i would have been knocked out. The funniest was when i tried to sidehop up this handlebar height wall and missed my front wheel and ran across the top of the wall head first into a metal pole! :o but i dunno how bmxers get away with not wearing helmets mike
  15. DMR MOTO DIGGER 2.35 on the front MAXXIS HIGH ROLLER 2.5 ST on the back 'nuff sed (Y) mike
  16. yeah i struggle with hooking on vertical walls, can usually do it after a few go on a slightly sloped wall! I learnt it in an evening at the last indoor trial at wales (see D4 (Y) ) but i dunno i don't think i go fast enough at the vertical wall! try starting by learning a pallet up against the wall, thats what I am gonna try! mike
  17. its plays really crap on my pc, but is watchable (just) nice vid, great mix of moves too and bloody good ones at that! only downside is i didn't like the music, but...meh mike
  18. trials shack is a smorgasboard of trials videos and will be up start of next month, just a few days (Y) mike p.s. i think thats the first time i have used the word smorgasboard on here :(
  19. it not too bad the main areas on bodging are - - the headset, random bearing, about four differnt type of headset in there! The headlock i am using is about 2 inches too long, so just put an extra four stackers on top of stem (the steerer only comes up to about headway up the stem too) - mech hanger is bodged like hell - and fitting a 47mm wide koxx rim in a zebber, is boody difficult when setting up brakes. mainly due to the fact they are too wide and seem to buckle when you look at them! other than that feels alright mike
