As long as you have enough clearance and it fits snugly on the crank arm, I don't see why it needs to be that perfect, just make sure you get your dimensions right, and make it a few mil bigger on the outside too 'cos then it won't wear out as quickly (obviously) Nathan

Would recommend this strongly - save some money and spend a good 400 on a nice 2nd hand bike... Take a peek in For Sale/Wanted section, might pick up a bargain - make sure you have enough money first though! Nathan

I find that I stay really far back from the edge, mostly because I do big pedal kicks, but depending on the size of your kick and how your body moves, you have to find the right spot for you Expriment with different positions and sizes of kicks to find the one you are most comfortable with Nathan

Deng blades are great, I just bought one and they really are very solid, give a great feel If you're going to spend £15 on a maggie one, pay the extra tenner and get a deng - worth the money! Go for it, Nathan

The best thing is to try and organise a massive, OFFICIAL event, and you can try to get sponsorship from trials shops... We are currently running a motorsport project at our school and I am the team manager, which means I have been trying to promote our project as much as possible... But seriously, the best thing to do is organise an official event that everyone will be able to see... Nathan
