  1. No idea what it is they are sending me, but cheers
  2. The same stuff that I do off the bike Through one ear is the winner, that way you can still here whats going on around you and react to it
  3. I measured mine against my friends tmag and the wheelbase was bang on the same. Mines a standard 221pr full build and his is a tmag with echo team forks. Not that WB really matters too much. I find the monty much nice to ride as the front end on his tmag is super low, well over an inch lower than mine. But i don't know if thats just his mag or all of them? He is running a zoo stem and echo flat bars which i guess don't help. Try to get a ride on both if you can, i could instantly tell which i prefered

    Summer Plans

Last summer I worked practically every day. To make up for it this summer i will be working part time and getting as much riding in as possible
  5. I had this problem with a Michelin and then a Maxxis Beading fu*ked?
  6. Im sure they would, hell thats part of the reason i gave up the first time round. Things just wernt as fun on the 17" Kona! But atleast with the old school bikes you only needed to own one bike, which you could do everything thing on thanks to a good range of gears and front suspension! I would like to see someone try a bit of DH on a trials bike nowadays
  7. Sure would liven up the afterparty though (A)
  8. With the egg timer bolt thing being really long does that mean you get shed loads of TPA? or does the amount of TPA stay about the same as with the standard lever blade? I am very tempted. Infact i think i will almost definately get one as all the FP stuff ive had so far has been top notch
  9. I'm still like that and i think a lot of people are, it just depends if you live somewhere with loads of riders, or are just about the only rider in your town and ride by yourself everyday I have to say I prefer the new school. Years ago tricks and stunts was the only video i had, and it was fantastic. I watched it over and over, but eventually it got to the point where i felt there was almost nothing more i could learn from it. But now there are SO many more videos and different styles of riding to watch that i practically see something new everyday, and I have so many more ideas for lines that i just hadn't thought about before. Because of the greater range of frames and parts available i have been able to find a bike that suits my riding really well. I am now progressing faster than ever, and more importantly having a shed load more fun now than i was back in the late 90s! Because of this I can see me sticking with trials for a lot longer than i would have otherwise. New school is cool
  10. I would say go with the Monty if you liked the T-Mag, as from what i gather it is the most similar in length to the T-Mag out of the two. Or if you fancy something longer try the Koxx. Ideally get yourself to a ride and blag a ride on peoples bikes BTW the Monty rims are not drilled
  11. Please do I was tempted to order one but it looks like it sits quite far away from the bars, which put me off as I have small hands
  12. IMEI number will be blocked and you (almost definitely) wont find anyone willing to change it as it is highly illegal. I have heard of people selling phones on foreign ebay sites as it wont be blocked over there. Or you could hand it in
  13. Wait for it 1. Koxx Levelboss 2. Koxx Belaey 3. Koxx Vinco 4. Koxx XTP2 5. Koxx V-Racing
  14. Thats a good point, but you shouldn't start sentences with "and"
  15. One 20 points of engagement and two pawls according to google
  16. I get them from work Doesn't help you at all, but I guess i'm saying you should be resourceful. I even get to use the works van to bring them home
  17. Paper i think Yea they are alloy. Maybe thats why you are having no problems. The FP ones i have ordered are steel
  18. Yes it is a 221pr. The Monty cams rounded off in seconds! I filled the plate down to the point where it was just small enough to do the job and no smaller. Sadly this was the same point at which the plate/bolt join was weakened to the point where it bent but just doing up the nut Ive given up with chain tugs and ordered some fresh products snail cams, hopefully they are good. I have no doubt that you can buy chain tugs that are a better size, but i went in EVERY bike shop round here and they all stocked the same one. If someone can give me the name/link to some chain tugs online that are sensible then that would be great, if not im not prepared to order every chain tug in the known universe and play trial and error. Cheers for the help any way guys On a side note. The bolts that go in the axle are pretty mullered from SO much tightening and undoing over the last few weeks. Anyone know where to get replacements?
  19. What? If its a 12mm allen bolt then no, obviously you need a 12mm allen key to undo it
  20. Yea but its not like there is a lot of choice if they are all the same but with a different logo
  21. Legally i dont think you are even allowed to make mp3's from the CDs you own
  22. Hes refering to an XC. and yes that one will be fine
  23. I've just made the change the other way, 26in >20in and im having loads more fun on the 20in Stick with it imo
  24. Tooooooo much stuff thats basically the same but with a different logo The only thing im tempted by is the screw on burn'a'likes. But for £130 i would probably just get some tensiles
  25. Looks good, but the pics on the navigation are quite faint and i dont know about anyone else but i had issues seeing what they were
