So many questions: Firstly, sorry no info being given on how I did anything - i'd be shooting myself in the foot. Simon - I know the design is fairly basic - at the end of the day I wanted to make something plain and easy for people that aren't too good on computers. There's nothing worse than a page with so much stuff on you don't know where to click. The design is being updated everyday, I tweak things - running 4 sites I just don't get enough hours in the day Anzo - yes they know mate, they also are very open minded and know i'm old enough to sell what I like as long as it's legal. Despite popular belief I only have 2 sex toys in my house, both of which bought for the missus before I started my business (Should have held out 6 months eh?) JT - All emails are sent from Spare Centre's emails account so that's discreet - on the invoices / statements it has "Products / Services - WSWorld Ltd". With regards to your second point, before the image was there it looked like a word document - so so boring. And it's supposed to be white on white so it doesn't get in your face too much yet isn't too bland (ie a blank white sheet) Oh and Simon - Have you looked at any other adult stores? You think my design is bad! Seriously, type sex toys or adult products into google and look at some of the trash that comes up I certainly would NEVER shop from some of those places. Really bad... If anyone does want something cheap, I will knock off some £'s for you. PM me with what you want and i'll work out a discount. Don't be worried about me saying something like "ROFL Ben Cox just asked for a butt plug!" because i'm not immature and at the end of the day, you're business and business is what the site is there for. Cheers for the feedback y'all. Mike

Some of the product descriptions aren't done yet - i'm ploughing through manually adding them! Yes it's all drop shipped Ben - it works great. All orders are automatically uploaded via FTP at the end of the day and processed by suppliers. The cone vibrates, it's like a vibrator but it only teases outside, can be used pretty much anywhere so it's a cool toy - has been on TV loads actually... They call it a massager but we all know what it's really for.
-
Yes, it's for real. I also run sparecentre.co.uk machinecenter.co.uk In total I sell roughly 300,000 products running from secure IBM Domino Servers. It's all legit, multi-thousand pound turnover per month.
-
Right, if this is offensive or annoys paying advertisers then please close or tell me and i'll delete this post. My latest online shop has just been launched - www.xcentre.co.uk THIS SITE IS FOR ADULTS ONLY - Adult products are sold there. Opinions please? Improvements? Was it easy to use? If anyone does want to order anything for their partners it will be done discreetly (ie I won't start telling anyone on here what you ordered) Anyway, thanks for your time.

I love NMC - Why post this? A bike in pieces, with stickers on. The joys of being pointless...
-
The question is, do you beleive what you read in The Sun? KEYWORDS: Ugly car, Ugly colours, Mangled, Unfortunate.
-
When will people learn? Send it recorded! Sorry, but if someone a bit cheeky received something first, they might try and rip you off - I couldn't do it as i'm too honest but it really is easy money.
-
DON'T TALK ABOUT HAT CLUB! Nah my event is on Saturday unfortunately... well, not unfortunately, I love it. Won't be over again for about a month, absolutely skint right now.
-
Nah haven't played in Brighton yet, although I go clubbing there most weekends Brighton rocks! I don't have the promo mix I did before anymore, I think Inur has it still though so see if he'll MSN it to you? Yeah sunny sussex boy me lol - though Hastings isn't exactly, erm, the nicest town in East Sussex.
-
My older one was more Funky House though to be honest, i'm much more into dirty electro now! I still mix all that, but my mixes are definately slightly heavier now. The actual mixing is much better in this latest one
-
Not really mate lol I like my european electro, the really dirt stuff... PVD has gone a bit crap as of late... his old 1999 trance was wicked...
-
Yeah the basic CDJ's are good for beginners... Still saving for 1000 Mk3's at the moment - don't have £1,500 to spare though I use the Denon DNS1000's they are nice, mid priced at about £650 a pair - well worth it. I'd not advise cheap products. Avoid Stanton, avoid Numark and a few others... Denon / Technics / Pioneer are pretty much the top 3 manufacturers. Thanks for the comments on the mix, glad you all like it Mason - Exceeder is electro house, though it's verging on pop now... If you like this music, and want to mix, look for the following artists: Chris Lake Thomas Schumacher Tomas Andersson Martijn Ten Velden Matthius Schaufhauser Sebastien Leger Trentemoller Meat Katie James Zabiela loads more....
-
Go for it mate... Oh and cheers for the comments everyone... Much appreciated - if you're over 18 and come to Hastings let me know, it's even better live with all my lighting and stuff And no, sorry - no Drum & Bass! I listen to everything but I only play Breakbeat & Electro... I'll put a breakbeat mix up soon if you guys are into it
-
If you're after CD players you get what you pay for - ie if you buy cheap you'll get hardly any features and they'll probably break. I started this way, got pissed off very quick. I have Denon 1000's which are nice and reliable, about £700 a pair (Sounds a lot, but Pioneer CDJ1000 MK3's are over £1,500 a pair!)
-
Yeah sorry, one of my servers was down yesterday, the other was running 4 online shops as well as you guys and DontStayIn.com all leeching the file - sorry for the slow! The Domino Server was trying to replicate a 30 mb file constantly too 'cos I messed up some code
-
I do experiment a little bit but my work is not good enough to be released... I'm a perfectionist ;/ I made a hardstyle version of Kelis - Milkshake - which was quite fun, but again not something i'd want to share. I had loads of producing stuff all going and my last laptops harddrive blew up so I lost it all Never had the heart to start again really, that's why I use decks, you can't lose anything (Unless the CD gets stuck or you break the needle on your turntable...)
-
Virtual DJ if you HAVE to use a pc... Buy decks though mate, mixing on computers really isn't the way forward... People will argue and say Ableton on a Mac is the best way to mix, Paul Van Dyk does it blah blah... Can't beat real decks. I use Denon DNS1000's, fairly budget setup but good nonetheless Cheers for the comments everyone... Oh and Audacity isn't a mixing program, it's an editing program. I often use it to make the sound less harsh and fade in / out and start / finish. Audacity is good for making set intro's though, like you say putting lyrics over things. you can make nice 3 minute intro's that sound crazy (Like 6 or 7 songs mashed over one beat...)
-
Cheers guys... I have an event on March 10th, which i'll be recording so you can have some live stuff - I do scratching over breaks / electro when I play out which sounds kinda weird because nobody else does... I'll upload the entire event (Me and 2 guest DJ's) - 8 hours of music - on the 11th or asap.
-
Right, Some of you liked the last installment - so here's my latest mix. Go to my website, www.technicalscience.co.uk and go to "Media Downloads" on the left. You can download the mix, follow instructions (It's literally 3 clicks!) Alternatively, just enter the site and stream it via the music player on the side bar. Negative comments regarding the music? Keep it to yourself. Constructive criticism about the mixing? Let me know. Positive feedback on the mix as a whole? Let me know. Want a tune name? Let me know. Ciao for now, Mike.

I can't beleive this has gone on so long, it's simple. YOU sold it. YOU didn't send it recorded, therefor have no proof it was sent / can't prove he received it. YOU owe him £30. You may be in a bad financial situation, but that's nothing. If you sent it properly, you'd be able to claim the money back and give it to him. YOU f**ked up, YOU deal with the consequences. Sorry to sound harsh, but bull excuses don't wash with me. There are no excuses, you didn't get it recorded, so you give him his money back.
-
Sounds like Virgin have something to stop you sharing your internet mate, I don't know of a way of doing it mind you... Might be worth giving them a call? BT used to do something similar I think... And "the box" - is that a phone / modem splitter box or is it a Modem?
-
It's common sense. If it comes from Halifax (Or apparently is from them) and you don't have an account it's obviously a scam or a cock-up. Either way, delete it. Phishing is old news now...
-
Like other have said, depends on the situation. If i'm in a pub it's acceptable, but when you get pikey 17 year old girls with kids on the bus screaming "Oi f*** off you c***!!!" when it's packed with old folk does get on my nerves quite a bit. I don't swear much but I certainly use it in the right situation, like when i'm doing website code and it refuses to work!!
-
There is nothing planned. There was a debate on another website i'm on regarding this. There are no proposed plans as yet. I can't remember the exact details, but it was something along the lines of "They aren't doing it yet, but i've made this to show that people don't ever want it to happen"
-
the technical name for it is Grime - and yes, it is chavvy, but I listen to it... I listen to almost all types of music though.
