What i'd do: By all means buy the system: 1 x 12" Vibe Sub, 2 x 6x9" Infinity Speakers. Decent head unit and amp... you don't many speakers, it's too much unless you're building a show car. Just get sufficient to over power engine noise... (Even then that's risky, you can't hear problems)

I was riding a really low bench, and a cop came over accused me of making the splinters and damaging the bench, so I pushed the bike into the bench to show that the BB didn't actually touch the bench when I rode up it. Clearly proved that I COULDN'T have done the damage and he argued for ages. Let me off in the end but I swear they do it for something to do... It f**ks me off. Fair enough i'm in the wrong, but this town has bigger problems than cyclists.

We can but there's drawbacks: On short invitations to tender it can waste loads of time when pricing jobs, meaning we could miss the deadline and not get the job (Which can be 200,000 plus uk quids!) The don't always have the facility to send it in another format. Currently I have no way of editing them other than with Photoshop. Does anyone know if this will ruin the scale of the drawing once printed at A1 or A0?

It's more the editing side I need... Photoshop doesn't do DWG's does it? I've tried the Free DWG viewer before, the problem I find is that they lose their scale. For landscape architects drawings they have a scale of say 1:100 but when you print it fits to page and loses it's scale therefor making the square meterage measurements wrong when we LandCalc them. Grr. Am I right in saying AutoCad is the industry standard package for this kind of thing?

Right, I work for a landscaping company and we get emailed in drawings of sites. These tend to be in PDF or DWG format. We can open the PDF's in Acrobat Reader 7, but sometimes we need to modify them. I downloaded Acrobat 7 but there doesn't seem to be anyway of modifying a PDF file? Also, what's the best program to view DWG's? I assume they are CAD files, so what's the best package? I ask because I know a lot of you are design students or whatever! Cheers in advance, Mike.

Not entirely. Bigger magnets do tend to indicate RAW power! It's not always the case, but more expensive ones tend to have bigger magnets. If you want 6 x 9's Infinity are good, again avoid Xplod. Also, sub and amp wise, avoid SPLX. They are cheap and don't reach all frequencies, and also DO NOT put out the power they claim.

Sub wise you want JBL or Vibe... They are the win of subs... Avoid Xplod. In fact, shit on Xplod stuff! Apart from the newer expensive stuff... I'm talking about the old hex shape red junk.

Please supply me with some Video footage of anything funny, insane, sick, scary, dodgy... ANYTHING! Not trials though please... something different.
