    My New Pedals

Nice p-dals. now you just need to put the crank back on, and you're good to go! I'm thinkin about VP's?
  2. I use the also use the ones that come with the ODI lock-ons. I'm not impressed with them. They cover the entire end of the bar, which is not a problem, but they slip constantly I am now riding with one. Having nothing on the end doesn't seem to bother me so far. I am also annoyed by the tiny bolts for the lock-on part of the grip. Partly my fault, as I installed one side face up, so my hand is pressed against the bolt. I stripped it, so I can't remove it. Its given me a nasty little callouse spot on my hand that is kind of numb/hurts at the same time. Dunno. Thinking about just regular grips after these ones.
  3. Definitely depends on what type of riding you plan on doing. If you ride in comps all the time, and are smooth/experienced or have a lot of cash to spend, go with the xtp. If you just ride more than you do comps, are not smooth or are heavy, don't have a lot of cash, go with the Pitbull, its more durable/heavier, and has a longer warranty. Both are nice bikes and look cool. Who do you like more: Vincent Hermance or Neil Tunnicliffe?
  4. I hate goddamn flash. Video looks promising perhaps?

    Pedals?

I would like to try some VP's or some variation, cheap at least.
  10. I rode frontbrakeless for about a month or so during the winter, didn't seem to help at all though. :-
  11. that blows. Good while it lasted I suppose.
  12. I've run CRM's with and without a grind and brown Koxx with a grind, I'd have to say the best would probably be CRM's with a grind. Koxx are definitely better for wet though, if that's a consideration. In my experience, the Plaz's seem to make more noise. My Bloxx also tended to make a whoosh sound, not all that solid sounding really. If you want a smooth rim, go with Zoo! pads, from what I've heard anyway.

    Fears

I say try it again as soon as you can ride. Also, practice bailing, going over the bars, things like that. It helps to have more confidence in dismounting, especially when its unexpected, you might have a better/less damaging reaction.

  20. I like the second pic from adam. That is a kick-ass colour scheme. Looks identical to the St. Blaise to me though, except for the seat brace? Also great graphics.

  22. LEVERS='05 Magura CALIPERS='05 Magura HOSE= Magura PADS=Koxx Bloxx RIM=Alex DX32, shitty half-grind BOOSTER=Threshold
  23. Wow! Thanks for all the replies. B) Seems there are various answers so this is my choice: static hop to rear, starting with front wheel resting on object=wheelswitch/replacement pedalkick to front, transfer to rear wheel, as on a rail=wheelswap/hoo haa/pick
  24. not really following you on the 180 part? I meant pedalkick to front wheel on a rail, then switch to rear, no 180? Maybe I just don't know what you're talking about?
