I used to be into trails / dirt jumps, but more importantly... digging them! Happy times until the council flattened them to build that stupid path!

Same kinda thing happened to me a while back... After messing around with it for ages and having no joy, I noticed the piston had a really slight groove down one side, I lined it up with the `wield` on the lever body where the two halves are joined and it worked fine. (god knows how it got twisted by it's self?)Prior to that the piston would get stuck really bad, but after lining things up it was smooth as anything! Sounds like bullshit I know, but it worked!

Not really... if you get it printed you will still be able to see what's going on, it just won't be super crisp. I'd go for it as it's only for a laugh! ...lighter version, may help with clarity a bit?

I don't see what's wrong with the stuff you find in roads to fill cracks and stuff as long as it's kinda freshly laid and hasn't been there for years. Every now and again I ride down a posh/well maintained street (Rodney St in Liverpool ) and nick myself a bit. As for applying it, I prefer to score several lines around my rim at a 90degree angle on both sides and when I ride it spreads it's self out... the spinning the wheel technique seems to put to much on for my liking. PS: What B&Q stores sell it? When I have looked I have only found paintable bitumen... screw that!
