What ones are you using?

I'm left ff, but wish I used my right sometimes. Pedal kicks are ok, but when I try pedal ups etc my left foot/leg is useless when putting the power down from a full rotation.

So I'm thinking about drilling the sidewalls of my front rim... couple of questions: Is there a good method for marking the rim prior to drilling so that you get a nice equal spread of holes? How many holes should you drill on a 26" rim? What drill bit size should I use? Should I be cautious of running high pressures after doing this, 40psi max? Should the holes go all the way through the sidewall? Should the holes be countersunk? ...is the weight saving worth it?

Take the piston out again (pain in the ass if it's now stuck = pressure!), and try putting it in the lever body in different positions and see it returns any better just by using your finger to press on it. This happened to me a while back, I had to mess with it for about an hour until I found the right position. Like I said... mine had a really slight groove/depression running down the piston, so I lined it up with the join on the lever body, where the two halves meet and I went from being completely stuck to working great.

Think I'll avoid it and just remember the first one fondly. Wish I could forget the 2nd and 3rd!

Have a mess around with the piston in the lever body. Take it out, see if it's binding anywhere? Mine had the slightest groove down one side which I had to line up with the join mark in the lever body so it went in and out with ease.
