They rang me up last week, confirming what i ordered and tried to blag me that all i needed was the fun bolts. I told the chap on the phone i knew exactly what i need and got him to confirm what i was getting. He said it would be with me in a few days, that was Tuesday last week; still don't have it. I think the money has even been taken from my account. If it doesn't turn up today, exactly what I ordered and what it says on the order confirmation email then i'll kick up.
Stop what cracking, the axle? Myself, Andrei Burton and Si Whitby were chatting about this on Sunday, none of us have had a problem with our king rear hubs.
Exactly how i did it on a my front DX32 rim, work fine no issues at all. Get a hole saw set which has a centre drill bit to, makes the whole process a whole lot easier.
Ok, he isn't going to look as comfortable or be as good on the bike because he's only just got it.... but my god, you weapon, that sidehop was huge! Ride soon please.
P.s. mods are for kids
That was awesome! some big big ballsy stuff, sweet flowing spinny stuff (loved the line with the cotton reels) and stuff that just made me smile. The huge drop and 3.05 made me wince with fear and the bail into the river had me in stitches. Brilliant!
I guess so. I do think that one of the proper tyre manufacturers needs to produce a trials specific tyre, although i can imaigne that the developement and production costs would be off putting.
I doubt you'd notice any difference at all between Middleburns and any other high end crank. But personally I don't run anything but Burns, have them on both my trials bikes and the Intense, stiff, light, strong and the warranty covers trials use.
Watching good riders will help you improve, but not as much as if you can watch a video of yourself riding too; so you can see what you're doing wrong.
I wouldn't be too disheartened you'll pick it up farily quickly if you ride frequently. I find my riding goes backwards if i only have a month off, can't be helped but its pretty normal.
Mine's started doing this on my 24", tightened up the adjusting collar and was fine for the whole of about half an hour and its come loose again. Mines currently a QR axle, but have a HD axle kit on order. Do you need the CK tool for doing up the adjusting collar properly?
