  1. If you've got the money, go for a King, awesome bits of kit.
  2. Slogging your guts out riding up a hill in the middle or nowhere, lifting your head knowing there's no one around for miles and coming to terms that this country really is beautiful. A cold beer in the shower just before a night out. When your ipod, although on random seems to know what songs you want to hear. Random "i love you" texts Chilling with your mates and realising life is actually pretty damn good.
  3. Absolute monster. He pissed that sidehop, like it was 2 foot high. b*****d.
  4. That's a bit gorgeous, how are the Louise discs? Different choice.
  5. 22KG?! seriously, my Socom was about 16KG's at its lightest.
  6. Looks ok to me, like everything apart from the drop outs, look a little big. 390mm chianstays?! why?!
  7. Craig sort out the graphics like we know you can on this one and give Onza a gentle nudge in the right direction with the other frames too. Looks good, really impressed with the current range Onza are offering. Personally i don't think there's anything wrong with the name, it's a bit sad that people are more than happy to ride a Because or a Rockman etc when these companies came from no where over the last few years and in Rockmans case demand a premium price. It's a name, its how it rides, how it handles the abuse and what it looks like a remote last.
  8. I've got a brand new drilled Alex DX32 rim for sale in my topic: For sale topic They are not too wide at 38mm and fairly light, i've been running one on the rear and now its currently on the front of my bike for a total of 18months and its been solid, been through several wheel builds and had no issues with it. Found that they held a grind really well too.
  9. Ok call me crazy, but i was having a ponder after i filled the washers on my car today, wouldn't screen wash be ok? It's designed not to freeze, can be mixed with water happily and as far as i know has nothing corrosive in it?
  10. I'm guessing Tartybikes.co.uk... the fountain of trials knowledge and information that it is.
  11. Where is there a weak brake on the bike? 3 piece cranks are granted probably a bit overkill, but front end set up is a very personal thing. If he got a bmx he wouldn't be able to ride trials on it.
  12. I didn't know that they still made the Paul stuff, its lovely. Very nice bike
  13. Pretty sure they use a wider hub shell too, to take full advantage of the stronger wheel build the wider spacing allows. So no, not worth it at all, unless you have the correctly spaced DH/FR full sus frame.
  14. Longer BB, you could space it out on the axle, but its not advisable as it will put undue stress on the BB spindle and on the cranks. Its only happening when you put pressure on the cranks because its causing them to flex. New BB it is i'm afraid.
  15. Slack head angle is slightly better for manuals and bunnyhops, but changing the chainstay length and the bb rise can compensate for this and allow for a steeper HA which is better suited for spins
  16. Apart from the first 7 or so minutes that was quite good
  17. C'mon Jack should have checked the site first! They may be uber trials geeks but they have lives and need time off too!
  18. Aye thats all well and good, you've got it sorted. But why are these issues arising in the first place. I'm currently waiting for Tarty to open in the new year so i can send back some Trialtech spacers and for someone like Hope, who do everything in house to get it wrong is a little worrying.
  19. From what you were just saying you've never "had anything"
  20. Must....refrain....from....making...comments.....
  21. That was awesome, impressive riding, silly amounts of snow, hate to think how icy it was!
  22. Apologies had a quick scan and couldn't see it.
  23. Interview with Danny Mac on Pinkbike.com from the New York Times... Linky Thought someone may be interested. Craig
  24. Looks really nice can't see them staying in the shops too long
