not sure were you live mate but go into somewhere like aire valley who stock a range of trials bikes and tell them your situation and they should have no problems letting you have a go on a bike and then see if 20 is what you want or 24 or 26. like others have sed t-pro is the best beginer 20' i had one and they are a great bike to start on. and a t-rex seems a good starting point for 26' a well. but the best way is to get to a shop and try the diferent bikes
how do you do the voteing thing above the topic were it says vote yes or no and so on. or can you not do it as a new member ive seen it done a few times in the forum but not in new members.
some good ideas keep them oming and the reason why i don't want to just go out and buy some pads is because this way you can save a fair amount of money.
have u looked on tarty they are the best ones to use the ones that are used on tensiles http://82.110.105.16/tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=50 , the problem with going and buying a helicoil from a mechanics is more than likly it will be in metric (milimetres) what u need is imperial (inches) as the thread on a pedal is 9/16 so i would advise getting the inserts on tartybikes for tensiles and taking your crank to an engineering company or your uncle if he nos what he is doing and getting them to do it. hope i could of helped hudson
there was a topic a bit ago put no one reallly sed were, so does anyone no were you can buy the pad material to go into the backings am not really bothered what it is to an exstent. but if its something like koolstops thenill give it a miss. would really like to make me own pads but takes to much resources so thought this would be the next best thing.

well it depends on what kind of moves you like doing generally if you do streety moves like bunny hops get a high rise stem but if you like moves more like side hopping get a low rise stem hope it helped mate
dont get hs11 get hs33 and get the evo version. if you are going to get some i would recommend buying from a local shop and not off the internet as they will usually do free fitting, and internet shops sell the brake with to much cable so it will cost you more to get it rebleeded and cut down hope this helps mate
ive got a gu long and its improved my confidence and l like to think my rideing as well but up to u personally ive never rode a zona and havent heard anything bad about them nor have i about gu. just try and find someone and have a go on one. not sure about zona but gu has high bb so jst try a bike with high bb see if you like it or not as not everyone likes the same thing. hope could help.
on my mates the bash plate and mounts crushed into the frame. if your a beginner most people will say t-pro good bike to learn other than that just get the bike you like as you will get so many people saying different bikes because they like them and you might not in the end.
