  1. its not strictly a true rule really as in doing it on a bike isn't all about power, technique plays a big role where as its not going to as much in doing it on your feet
  2. you would have to get a new crown machined thats thicker, so that it still sits on the wider part of the steerer tube and also spaces
  3. locktight will be fine, common problem on front freewheels
  4. guess your going to be saying good bye to riding for quite a while then
  5. obviously the axel is below the pedal body level so your sole won't rub. and im guessing it will have sealed bearings so mud and grit wont matter that much if you give them a quick blast with water every now and then. great design i think.
  6. you do relise the frame won't make you ride like ali dont you? lol if it helps ive rode with him a few times lately while hes had the stinger and hes back on form now and best ive seen him riding in a long time.
  7. khe are dam strong chains, but feck me the amount of stiff links you get in them is unbelieveable. i run the trialtech one, never had any problems. i change my chain every couple of months though anyway.
  8. we can't help you if we dont know why its rubbing, what parts making the chain rub? also where abouts is the chain rubbing?
  9. it doesn't make a difference if the wheel is built or not.
  10. anyone fancy riding tonight, somewhere like blackburn may be or another place.
  11. with the all black scheme those graphics look good, not sure if they will with any other though.
  12. mk2 dont have the mounting point underneath the vee boss, but they do still have the 3 holes that are in a row. i actually prefer these adaptors as i think they sit lower than the mk3's
  13. you may want to pass, the weather here has been on off for the last 2 days and when raining its thrown it down.
  14. its not guarrentied to improve your riding as you may find the geo doesn't suit you. but change is good sometimes as it makes you want to ride more usually. only way to find out is to buy it really.
  15. i wouldn't hold your breath on any dates given or that they will be in stock by mag release. it must be a couple of years now that people have been waiting for the release of a trials frame. you hear of these deals that ashton have going and all there plans but nothing gets put into action or takes years to come to the market.
  16. wow, just shows how great dengs tolerences are on his frames, pritty sure the longest control made was 1085. unless your forks are bent to f**k im pritty sure ali's bite is crazy good on his uses a grind, may be try different pads
  17. its not a case of trying to prove you wrong but its anoying that you just jumped to a conclusion after three frames had broke, im not saying there isn't a probelm but untill a number of them break you can't make a assumption. and now what you have made out is that the tensioning system is to blame when its not going to be, its obviously just the shape of the dropout thats at fault.

    Unicycle

well im not sure i would of stuck it all over iternet and i think id of been running.
  19. snails cams are crap!! i had nothing put endless hell with them on my mod. they dont hold your chain tension at all the wheel just moves unless you have a king or profile as they use m8 and m10 bolts so can be tightened up loads. not even a world champion has decent chain tension, ive seen vincetn and gilles with crap tension loads. onzas system is a god send. just replace the the nut with a nylon lock nut then the bolt won't work free, simple. you adamant that just because your frame broke this is instantly a problem. you obviously know f**k all, lets just say alot of frames do break by the dropout. its not the tensioning system thats the problem, its just the design shape of the dropout as it is all cnc'ed one piece, that its putting to much stress on the chain stay. just change the design and you still keep the great tensioning system.
  20. any fancy riding blackburn tonight or anywhere else like lee mill quarry maybe?
  21. you can't make this asumption yet that they are as bigger weak point as your making out till this happens to a vast amount of people. onza are in no way going to throw away money at the moment by redesigning the frame which would mean they would have to make a proto, test it and then pay for the tooling to be changed or more made. if say only 2% of the frames made this happens to then in a companies eyes thats a loss worth taking. at the moment its only 0.3% if three have only gone one of which was a proto. hope redesigned there hub shells due to them cracking, a friend still managed to crack the new design but he is one of a very! small group that have and because of this hope arn't going to that warrent another redesign. its the same case.
  22. did they replace the frame then? or was it half price replacement?
  23. Like said this is only happened to 3 people so far 2 of which are onza riders and one is riding a proto. if carthy was using a disc im not suprised then as alot of stress goes through the dropout. and the other person is a well known tgs rider who doesn't sidehop curbs so it hardly suprising that this happened. your stay also looks fairly twated, they are deep scratchs so obviously youve landed hard. onza are one of the best companies for warrenty so if there saying no to a replacement im pritty sure no other company would have done it either then. you can get half price replacement though can't you? how long have you had it
  24. i was meaning, by having more than one colour and i think its faded the rockman frame, think its a new anodizing technique
  25. anodized orange, something along the lines of the new rockman frame aswell
