    Tra-Ghetto Bike

Hey I enjoyed it, nice video! Like the new take on your riding, pull it off well too! Favourite for me was on the logs in the floor: hop180 on to one then backwards leap - huge and cool to see! Inspirational too, as the gloomy weather dawns in over here in UK! cheers
  3. Shoe laces were nicely tied! haha.. nice video matey, real nice to watch too!
  4. For my 2p's worth: I personally think this is great, and its even greater of people to chip in and help out! don't get much of that nowadays I've kinda jumped on it a bit late (and pretty short on spare parts) If your still lacking anything give me a shout, I know off head I have: Rear mech, grips, chain, magura brake pads. As I say not much but if its the last little items to get you rolling. Would be interested to see a build up please! Cheers
  5. Cheers guys! Yeah the back brake for me is loud, but compared to what I've had in the past (pads from eBay and tar'd rim) i have to scarfice quiet for such response haha! Duncy: It's about a 40min drive from us, I've only been a few times, didn't even know of it until a friend showed me the other week. The 2nd time I went my rear hose blew. So this time (in the video) was to get what I'd missed out my system! I was there for 8.30am! (body clock still on work time on a Saturday) and hence being alone! It'd be good to meet u up there one time or get together somewhere else! Do you go up a lot? There any more to it to ride? Cheers again Barry
  6. hey, appreciate the comments! cheers! on the helmet, valid point competely! I did take one with me, it only dawned on me after that i didn't pop it on though! not good i know! agree, should wear a helmet - better safe than sorry! hope others managed a dry spell this weekend! thanks again! Barry
  7. Hey, Not ever done this before... But after not been able to contain my excitement / fortune at the weather holding off (looking out the window first thing to see puddles of rain fall) to arrive at higgor torr, where it remained dry and even a spell of sun! the wind as ever was nicely present. Pretty chilled video I hope, I share here more to show how much fun higgor torr is and if you havent yet managed to go. Do try! (I know theres a couple others have posted up some nice vids too). Thanks for looking in... maybe a chance to plug: http://ontrials.tumblr.com again nothing serious, just a jump on to the tumblr bandwagon and upload anything and everyting two wheel / comical - more to keep a network of our group that now resides wider apart - and bit of spark in the day on a monday morning at work!! Cheers, Barry
  8. really enjoyed that those 360 side hop offs are too good
  9. xlite 221 cesar canas for sure! beautiful bikes
  10. Loads better I actually took some time with them tonight - never would have been the brakes, they were the only thing promising on the set-up thanks to isitafox! changed the pads, took more time setting up, slightly put the tpa in a little and its now running quite nice - getting used to a mod though is crazy! such different technique to riding a stock!! Thanks very much for the feedback etc!
  11. Cheers for the replies guys, I'd had a freshen up with the brakes and not much joy, so I'll get the old hs33s a bleed, put them back on and so how it goes! I think it's a combination of pads-wheel-frame-lever and together makes it seem large, the wheels are radial lased on the front and half on the rear which doesn't look to help, I'll have another good go tonight and see how it fairs! Thanks again for the help (and restoring faith!!) Cheers
  12. Hi all, I give up... Since starting riding, I've always rode stock... more recently decided (wrongly) to dabble in a mod - being quite short I figured their might be some advantages, anyway... Ive now tried all ways - I notice alot / most run dual disc, is the reason for this that mod frames are renound for being flexy when using rim brakes or just a preference thing at current? I have a monty kamel 220 and both brakes (setup fine - and now brand new) i can get the lever to touch the handlebar with no effort, is it just the kamel really is a bollox frame for this or are all mods similar due to (obviously) shorter tubing etc? can anyone shed any advice please? or any experience? p.s/ have a booster on the front, and a tnn integrated on the rear thanks
  13. Hey being from the "brisa era" circa biketrials.com etc in particular white Brisa's Id refer to as being amazing, but Ive found nowadays like chap above said - surpisingly not the case! a couple were on ebay just last week and struggled to get £200 I think it depends who wants and whos looking! For what you might get for it - dust her off and get out riding on it! )
  14. Morning folks We've had overnight rain here... It's looking a little clearer now however, the place with the rocks is, it's all woodland area: trees and grass - the rocks are limestone - so bloody deadly with a bit of water on them, I took the hand shears down yesterday in between the rain for a few more lines for us, bit with it raining today it'll put a dampener on things (if you parson the pun) There's some rocks to ride that I'd call "up the top" as their on open space and concrete but not many to warrant people travelling to ride! Hope people havent set off already if were still coming! Sorry guys! My fault for putting it of so late then it rains!! Keep u posted
  15. Excellent guys! Hopefully others are good for that date also?? Cheers *another effort at a flyer, tried to include any possible legal implications (I'm hoping there aren't any) and images on google search when searching "biketrial" in images - references there ;-)
  16. Lovely stuff Ben cheers! Spotted the tyketrial - on the ball with them now! It's just other events haha, so cheers for pointing out k124
  17. Okay... Following that then, the bank holiday Monday wouldn't be that good for me, could possibly be away also So... 8th may? Any good for you two? (trying to pick an easy to reach date) I know it's really been pushed out but... And don't wanna seem to be making a big song and dance about it now, but the interest has been overwhelming, trying to get a good date! And this time i'll not balls it up...
  18. Morning! Re-reading posts above, it's looking a better option to re-arrange. Admittedly through fault of my own and not getting my thumb out! How's 24 April Or 1 May For everyone?? Again, I can't appologise enough for making plans then not sticking to them! I must admit, I didn't anticipate this enthusiasm and support for it, which is great! It only makes me want to make it a worth while event for the people willing to come! So... Is a date re-arrange okay for the majority? Sorry guys, but thanks for being so helpful! Here's some pics also...
  19. Hey folks! Sorry for lack of update on this, have been moving house this last week and it's all gone quick this last week, and I do feel a bit of a let down for not posting info! Anyway... I took some pics this weekend, I'll upload tommorrow morning, most of the rocks don't look that bad! If people can still make this weekend (weather permitting as always) thatd be great? However if people would now rather postpone I wouldn't be offended - really do appologise for neglecting this topic this last week! Anyway, I'll get the pics up tommorrow (will have to use net at work you see) and see if people still available and go from there? Thanks guys, (and sorry again...) Barry
  20. Nice video that! Looks some really good quiet places to ride too! Really liked it! Cheers

    Camera Test

    Nice, very nice
  22. Haha, cheers dude! Can't blame you if you don't wanna, but I'd sure be happy! No pressure (just kidding) Cheers
  23. Both look sweet! Levelboss is nice in black! And forgive me for this... Please sell me your Leeson? What I would do for one of them frames!! Cheers
  24. Hey Thanks for all the feedback, some good comments too! Interesting the geo is from the Leeson! In not a fan of the 360 drop but it's a good idea! Not horizontal but I guess with the right chain tensioner? Steel has always been a nicer feeling frame to ride I must add! Once had a planetx pitbull! Classic! Well I've gone from keen to not keen to quite intrigued now.. The shorter geo would be better for me! I look drowned on anything with a long wheelbase, and to be fair their cheap on eBay - could be worth giving a shot... Thanks
