  1. The T-Comp frame in question was developed as a lighter version of the T-Mag but was designed as a competition frame for light riders. We cleared the final stock a few months ago but I think there is still one knocking about in the factory. If you are interested ring us early Monday and I will check. It will be keenly priced.
  2. These price increases won't start filtering through till April/May time. These changes will not alter our bike prices until then ( other than T-Pros which are now completely sold out probably until at least May). The tyre price increases are ones which we have been notified about as a bike manufacturer who fits their tyres and are the original equipment supply prices. Final tyre RETAIL prices will be very much dependant on the individual importer and distributor and will also be affected by existing stock levels.
  3. We made a T-Lite a couple of years ago with an 85mm shell. Test results wre inconclusive ie. pro's and cons. I am sure your downhill frame has the luxury of suspension to soften the knocks. Fixed joints are a problem enough on Trials bikes without having to factor in removable sections.
  4. Er No. Aluminium based Magnesium alloys have gone up more than general aluminium alloys.
  5. It will apply to all brands and its due mainly to massive increases in costs of raw materials. Aluminium prices have been rocketing all year and the only reason these haven't crept through is because the pound has been going up against the dollar. That is not going to protect against these tyre price increases however, but they probably won't filter through to the after market till April or May time.
  6. Thanks Adam for that confirmation. Incidentally ours also comes with the bash guard. I wouldn't wish to make any further comments on the relative value of these items. You basically pay your money and take your pick.
  7. Excuse me, we have been fitting these cranks for 18 months now and Onzaboy Mark will confirm that he was using the prototype almost a couple of years ago. I think you will find that Meta bikes was only established this year. A typical comment without any true basis.
  8. For any one who may not have realised it, the reason we used the drop stay frame for the belt drive, was because you cannot split a belt like a chain. The drop stay allows removal of the belt/chain without splitting, so this frame was the only one suitable, and was one of the reasons why the frame was evolved in the first place.
  9. Harvey Keitel in Pulp Fiction. Even the Hitman don't mess with the Cleaner.
  10. Onza are a British company operating from Nottingham and we have an ongoing and vigorous R and D programme. The dropstay frame is one of many concepts that we have developed and it is ongoing. Just because things go quiet it does not mean we have dropped it. There are several dropstay frames around including a 26" version and they are constantly under review. We have even worked with a belt drive supplier on the same frame as the design lends itself to that usage. We have high hopes that the design will find its way into production in 2008 but before we do so it will have to have proven benefits.
  11. ALL OLD NEWS? The ink on the contracts is barely dry.
  12. QUOTE (hugh_b @ Dec 11 2007, 10:49 AM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>The thing i don't get here is........you say you have the strongest team for 08......Youve just lost the 2 best riders in the country durrr I don't think at any point have we said that we have the strongest team in 08. We have an excellent team with some of the UK's top riders. Of course we were sorry to see Ben and Danny move on but this was entirely their decision and of course, myself ,Joe and Chris wish them well with their new sponsor. It does not stop us from moving forward with our future plans and we are very pleased to have signed such a group of top riders.
  13. The Tensile is already threadlocked and can be used on the rear. We do offer a rear freewheel version with a reverse lockring but they are not available now until March. Many people use the front freewheel version on the rear without problems.
  14. I'd endorse that but I think the Onza Reggie is even stronger.
  15. The frame has changed particularly with reference to the patented rear dropouts with tensioner built in. There is also only one model now which is an upgrade from last years T-Mag 2. We no longer produce a T-Mag 1. It has Tensile cranks, freewheel and magura mounts, conventional head tube with Onza Mongo 3 sealed headset, new Onza Porcipaw grips and the new sealed bearing front and rear hubs. Careful use of blue anodized componentry has given it a totally new identity, whilst giving it careful progression from last years model. We are producing a range of bikes and components for establishing our brands on a worldwide basis as a major player so we want continuity. We are not in the business of introducing new models and brands every five minutes so that the dealers stock is virtually obsolete before its been sold.
  16. banners@trials-forum.co.uk for advertising info.

  19. Unlikely. I think most riders, UK and International are arriving on the Thursday. Competition doesn't start till Friday as Thursday is trade day.
  20. This special edition is only in full sets.
  21. We've already sent one set to the USA and one to Canada. Post and packing is only 16.50 GBP.
  22. These look like the ones we originally designed for the T-pro / T-mag. If you do not source them ring Super Cycles, we have them in stock. 0115 9411133.
  23. The lemons are slightly softer for no grind and the limes are slightly harder for a light grind. Watch out for the Orange and Pink Grapefruit in the future.
  24. Just to add to what Joe said. Magura are much older than 20 years but their first bicycle related product was the hydraulic rim brake which they introduced 20 years ago. Since then of course they have introduced a whole range of disc brakes, suspension forks and rear shocks and now have a whole division dealing with bicycle products. They also make motor cycle and automotive parts and general hydraulic engineering components. If you want these limited edition ones though you'd better snap them up quickly as they are selling fast and we don't have many.
