  1. Probably because BMX guys wanted a forum. Liked that.
  2. That was brilliant. I love your style, your riding is quite unusual though. Some moves look like you're an experienced beginner, others like you're a pro. Keep riding, you'll be very good soon.
  3. Longest break from sex would be 2 months and counting. The craving is always worst in the first couple of weeks, then it seems to wear off for me.

    My Two4 Video

I like chilled vids with a slow pace but this was way too slow right to the point of actually being annoying. You're a good rider though.
  5. Start riding again. Realised how much I miss trials.
  6. There is a nasty way of dismantling a King hub in which you lock the drive shell in place so it can't rotate in relation to the rest of the hub/wheel and hammer it out from the inside of the hub. I was forced to do this to my King a few years ago since I was changing the hub shell to disc, went fairly smoothly since the hub was old and the bearings didn't sit in place as tight as they should. However after replacing the hub shell, the bearings went in so tight that I doubt this process could be repeated.
  7. I'm pretty sure that unlike with other things, it's always cheaper to make a meal yourself rather than order it. Unless it involves special tools like a tandoori oven.

    Help Me

Wild guess here, but did you order those parts via an internet website? If so I'm sure you can find the headset you ordered and tell us it's name or with any luck figure out from the pic how to put it together.
  9. Misunderstood you Mark. The special was incredibly good, it was so nice to see them actually not making fools of themselves all the time (for instance nobody falling off that log bridge or off the raft). And the variety of environments they went through was amazing. The dune was pretty scary, if they had got the cars sideways they'd probably at best end up in hospital. Unless they tilted the cameras and the hill wasn't that steep. What surprised me was that none of them wore seatbelts for that descent? What's the point of a roll cage then?

    Avatar..

Personally I'd vote for one of Kubrick's films to be the best ever. Went to see Avatar a few days ago and thought it was really good. What amazed me was the imagination that must have gone into making it.
  11. I think you mistook that post for a comment on today's episode, in fact it's almost a week old Haven't seen the special yet.
  12. I rode trials since 2001 but consider 2009 to be my last year of riding. Spent very little time on the bike this year and don't really fell the need to any more. Still find it a very good sport and would love to go out in the future and still enjoy it but it's got a bit boring after all these years.
  13. Don't know what you're using them for, but 200Nm is just fine for quick track use. For road use I guess 300Nm? Anyway, there's definitely no need to tighten your bolts by hand when you're using that wrench.
  14. Nice, I got one of them wrenches but a Hitachi 18V. Really chuffed, it's something I've wanted like crazy but could never get round to buying it. Isn't yours the HT one with something like 400Nm of torque? What the hell will you be using that for?
  15. A sex card which allows me to have sex once with any girl I want. I'm going to keep it till I'm 80.
  16. Your riding can be sketchy, or can look sketchy. His riding looks sketchy, but if it really was then he'd probably fail at 99% of the moves in that vid.
  17. A nice pleasant and fun atmosphere. Didn't get that unfortunately.
  18. No way that weighs 11,3kgs. Thats roughly how much a Deng bike on Urban parts would weigh. Seriously, 11,3 is insanely heavy for a trials bike.

    Travel

Do you not have these square combustion engine powered contraptions with wheels on them that drive around with salt and sand falling out of the back?
  20. Riding a light bike makes a huge difference. I used to have a bike which weighed 10,5kgs before I went on a weight rampage, after it was finished it weighed around 8,3kgs. That's over 2kgs gone and on the first ride it felt like the bike doesn't weigh anything. For people who are wrong and think that weight doesn't make a difference, try strapping some ankle weights (lets say 1kg on each leg) and jumping around. You will feel strangely heavy.
  21. Meh, there's probably a few thousand mod riders who don't have a trials forum account. So I wouldn't quite trust the results if only 50 people vote yes.
  22. That would put most wooden fence manufacturers out of business. Or it could be the other way round - after all that fence would need maintenance.
  23. Air fresheners, soap ingredients, shampoos... all that stuff.
