A million to one? Average episode, the fact they have to make a hash of everything they do is getting boring. Can't wait for the Bolivia special, the Vietnam one was absolutely epic.

These frames are badly designed. On mine I couldn't run the recommended gear ratio and at the same time have the brake pads hit the rim.

MG1 Ti pedals, Reset Ti bb and an HS33 front brake. You'll save at least half a kilogram on that, probably a lot more.

That's a genuinely nice frame. Nice geometry and a very simple yet good looking design.

Well if you're landing on the bashplate then yes, it will crack there. Bashplates on these frames are for protection, they're not really intended for BIU use. If it cracks then yes that might be a bad design, but it would be fine if bashplates were used correctly. From what I've seen very often people treat them like a hardpoint and don't really give a shit when they hit it.

Definitely learning to pedal up and being able to do it without wearing a set of cushions under my clothes. Mind you that was in 2001, progress was slow back then.

They're terribly weak but if you like a light fork then get them and change them every 2-3 months depending on your riding style.
