  1. A thick inner tube is like 5 quid. Unless you're building up your dream bike and are 5 quid short, I can't see why the hell you'd want to avoid buying an inner tube.
  2. I'm pretty sure Clevelands kid was thin tall and hyperactive? Only watched 8 minutes of it but I'm not a fan. A Quagmire show would be so much better.
  3. That's not much unlike the original JIB video but with better skills and no camera work. Impressive stuff
  4. That's the Monty way, since ~1990 they've had 3 designs. The Kamel has been around for about 3 years now meaning it'll be dropped around 2015.
  5. I'm pretty sure that the TR brakes aren't CNC machined but extruded and forged.
  6. Personally I'd choose a Maggie with an Echo SL or Echo CNC '08 lever blade.
  7. Rather Not 170mm ISIS cranks. Designed by the man behind Because Simple frames. On a related note, my 221Ti cranks are now around 3 years old and the spline is as tight as when they were new. Pretty impressive stuff considering they only weigh 370g or something silly.
  8. I'm pretty sure that the rules about such matters are the same everywhere - whoever buys that bike can get prosecuted, and it's still your bike no matter how many "future owners" it will have. The only thing is not to loose it.
  9. Well that's his job, he's our local Get Mad At Everybody For Nothing guy. Can't give any tips really, you just need to practice and watch vids. Nobody will learn it for you, it's all down to you.
  10. Youtube Video -> ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">
  11. Yep, they are remarkably good. Best overall brake I've had were cousts on a harsh-ish grind, wouldn't slip even in the wet.
  12. That was amazing. Also that dress is so funny in a positive way.
  13. He might be right in a way, I don't know what WTO stands for exactly. The key here might be distinguishing those countries which belong to the WTO and those, which also belong to the EU. In that case, I'm pretty sure that the taxation rules within the EU are more important than WTO agreements. Otherwise all the countries in the EU would just use GB as a port for importing goods which are taxed everywhere else.
  14. That's bollocks. China is a member of the WTO and there are massive import taxes between the UK/EU and China. FYI some bike imports from China hit the 48.5% tax.
  15. Possibly nothing. I've done this many times, both through Great Britain and Poland, never got charged anything. But if you're unlucky, you'll be charged 4,7% tax and 15% vat or whatever it is in the UK now. I'm pretty sure that tax applies to the whole of the EU.
  16. I'm pretty sure it's based on a short Koxx Levelboss from '03. It rides really well, had a go on one once and liked it.
  17. ENO - a massive no from me. Had one and it was worse than a 5 pound Dicta. Echo SL - good freewheels
  18. Those sections looked f**king difficult.
  19. Is this about you living in a hostel and students finding it fun to set off fire alarms at night? I'm a bit lost reading this thread.
  20. Oh yeah, they could be covered in asphalt?
  21. What if rainbows were black? Thank god they're not, else this thread wouldn't make sense.
