  1. The TR/SL/Urban groups are for parts and forks only. I doubt there'll be anything like a Control TR since there's no such thing as a Control SL. The frame that's been discussed is the replacement for the 2007 model.
  2. http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=908248 Just made a level which is an extension of the tube, try it out those of you who can. http://FantasticContraption.com/?levelId=10240
  3. Nope, those brands are for frames ONLY.
  4. http://FantasticContraption.com/?designId=839454 Anybody want to try and make it do loops?

    New Echo Parts

Meh, looks like new mod time for me DD madness
  7. Somehow that made me chuckle Frameset looks stunning, I'd actually go with a full set of red parts and black spokes.
  8. The 2008 Echo blades are a bit longer thus offering greater braking power. They are also more ergonomic which I found was the main issue with the older lever blades. Definitely get one, they are so much better than Magura ones.
  9. The TPA will be fine, RB has been using that design for years. If it snaps, you just replace it with a screw. Much better than having to go through the bother of ordering a TPA. Same with the remaining parts, RB used a modular brake lever where you could pretty much replace every single bit. Hope Deng introduces spares like he has with the SL hubs. The new Echo frames are targeted at the same group of riders as Koxx frames. They are mighty expensive but if you think about it, all comp stuff is. I don't think anybody knows what these will look like but if they turn out to be made around the same concept as the Boxx, they will find lots of buyers.
  10. He could even be from the North Pole, if you think someones riding style is in any way related to his place of birth you are very mistaken.
  11. No, Spanish style was good and died years ago. Now all we have is riders who try to imitate the UK mod riding style. The only young rider I can think of that actually has a fair bit of the good old Spanish style is Pablo.
  12. At the moment the only new frames are Echo Control, Team and Zoo Python and Pitbull. The other frames remain unchanged.
  13. Yeah the rims are pretty heavy for what they are - essentially normal rims with half the material extracted. So I'd guess they should be pretty strong.

Good stuff that. Calculated that a complete Echo Control 2009 should weigh around 9,1kgs with Schwalbe tyres and a thick rear inner tube. Combine that with some Trialtech parts and you've got yourself an even lighter bike.

  16. Haha I love how all you can hear for a moment are SLR's.
  17. Very dynamic shot. Is it one of these mowers which doesn't require you to push it? It looks like you're trying to pull it back.
  18. Doh, you just don't use inner tubes. And without those, there's no point in having tyres. Seriously, Abant have sorted out all the weight issues that trials riders have ever had by just making larger holes in rims. On a more related note, Marco G used these wheels for a whole season and they were fine.
  19. You've got a very good taste, yet another beautiful bike. Are those the new SL forks or too early? What are they?
  20. Wow, didn't know he was that good Definitely going to hear of him in the future if he starts to compete. Somehow really liked that vid, lots of lines and some really good editing there.
  21. Well, thanks for that. Been trying to get through to him about an urgent matter for a few days, good to know there's a valid reason to all this.
  22. It looks like it's made of wood Pretty impressive though, hope these bikes last!
  23. I remember a few of these riders from another vid, this one doesn't do them any justice at all. Awaiting the full vid
  24. To be honest I don't think that worked too well. Riding aside of course. I like relaxing videos but this one was a bit too slow and uneventful. Of course you're very limited in terms of ideas if you shoot a video using a tripod. Anyhow, I'd have actually made a video promoting a clothing brand in a more crowded place to show that they make you stand out from the crowd. Use of the colour pass effect - good. Also street is more appealing to the masses than natural.
