  1. Find out what Rowan is using. From what I remember it's a 3 chip Panasonic, not too expensive and produces a really good image. Look around for Dreams of Glass and download it, you'll see what I'm talking about.
  2. Well it's based on a successful rim design so I wouldn't worry about the strength at all. These rims look amazing in the flesh, much better than on pics - as do most Trialtech parts. These rims paired with some Rockman hubs and you've got yourself some stunning wheels
  3. Oh yes, just listened to it. Definitely your best mix yet, the first 10 minutes or so were so relaxing I went away from the computer and listened to it on my bed. Brilliant job!
  4. Probably the same as Partz. Meh, been at home all day today apart from the usual trip to the post office. Boring...
  5. Was a difficult choice but I decided to download the trance one first. Really enjoyed it, some tunes were brilliant - haven't heard the SOS song for ages! Personally I prefer slightly more "chilled" trance, some songs you used there were typical for hard trance. None the less it's great you're doing house and trance as well as electro! Looking forward to the next mixes. Yet to download the house one, will comment when done

    Gdynia Ride

You liked the last one a lot, so here's a new one. They visited us, we visited them. Edited and shot mostly by Jacobs on the mod. http://vimeo.com/1380687
  7. Looks remarkably like a small stock, nice one Dob.
  8. Personally as a rider I'd always go for Cousts no matter what the rim surface is like. They're incredible on a smooth rim, they're incredible on a grind and they're incredible in the wet. The compound isn't a re-engineered one, it actually comes from Michael Coustellier in France.
  9. These frames are very similar in geometry to the older Pitbulls and A1's but people have always been complaining about the HiFi being awful. GU's are similar to the Hifi. +10mm rise and 3mm shorter chainstays don't turn an awful frame into a brilliant one. Fact.
  10. Wow, congratulations. You must be in amazingly good shape to even consider doing such a demanding sport at your age! Just shows that there are no limits Just showed this to my dad who's also 70 and suggested he'd give trials a go. He didn't like the idea
  11. What a beauty Loving those stems and rims
  12. Happy Birthday man! :)
  13. If the wheel is rubbing against your drive side brake pad, the wheelbuild is at fault. If it's rubbing against the non drive side brake pad, it's probably the wheel moving around in the dropouts.
  14. Wow I was never a fan of his riding, he makes things look far too easy. This was a bit different, some of the lines and tricks he did were stunning. I want more!
  15. Amazing riding and technique. Seems like the most noticeable progress comp riders have made within the last 5 years are sidehops. Back then they were useless at them!
  16. A rider whom I'm sponsoring asked me to upload some pics of his bike onto this forum, so here they are
  17. That's brilliant. Going on my iPod, will be listening to this in the car.

    Top Gear

Don't get me wrong, I love Top Gear. Couldn't live without it. Far prefer them to stage things rather than have a boring and uneventful challenge - but don't make the staged bits so obvious. The Britcar race was amazing mainly because you knew it was for real. Series 10 was amazing so I had high expectations for the 11th one. Overall TG has been getting better and better with every series but this one is a bit of a let down. Isn't it time they had a "how hard can it be" challenge?

    Top Gear

Really disappointed, this series is pretty boring. Too many things are staged or at least it's more obvious than in the last series, car tests aren't as good either. Carkson hardly said anything about the GTR, the RS6 road test was useless. I know, let's test the most powerful estate car racing down a mountain road full of ice and snow against some guys who will win no matter what means of "transport" they'll be using. Was waiting a good year for the test of the Evo X that I might actually buy in the future and it was just hopeless. I mean seriously, all he said about it was that a) it's complicated and it's easy to control. For f**k sake, I know that. They're not testing supercars but cars which look ordinary and have superior performance, why don't they line them up against a Porsche or something like they did with the FQ400 and the Murcielago. edit: might also rant about the news, it's so predictable. You know that for half the time they'll be talking about the Dacia, road signs and what Clarkson has found on the internet. It was funny the first two times but doing the same thing 4 episodes in a row isn't.
  20. Liked it, really envious of such riding spots by the sea. Perfect chillout - music, small rocks and a nice sunset.
