  1. Change thread name to "Guess The Car Thread Pashley26!"
  2. Haha I can imagine that in 200 years wars will be fought with hand held accelerators just without the beam dump
  3. Oh right, was going by this. That's 7 months old though.
  4. Shush, it's oldschool. So much better than another GU or Python. Pink wheel doesn't look too well though
  5. I know you're just taking the piss out of the 'sidehop' boys but it's remarks like this that should be kept out of this thread. Treat this opportunity seriously. I'm pretty sure guys like Deonn could easily beat the official 26" sidehop record despite their view on the on/off thing. As long as they understand they need to land on the other side of the tape without knocking it down, all should be well.
  6. I don't get you guys. There were quite a few threads about official and unofficial records. Many complained that they are so out of date and that it'd be good to "update" them. Now you get a chance to go out there and prove you can beat a record - and yet nothing constructive has been said in this topic. It's like kids prattling all day about how they'd love to have sex, but once they get the chance to be intimate with a girl they just run away.
  7. Yeah that's a good point. KMC chains aren't designed to be joined, you should be using the split link which is shit. When you're joining the chain, the pin should go through the hole fairly easily. If you force it, you'll bend the outer plate which will compromise the strength of the chain so look closely while you're joining it. If you force it really hard, small cracks will appear around the hole. There's a neat way of avoiding this, once you start feeling resistance, take the chain off the tool and loosen the link by waggling it around. Reinsert and repeat if needed. Works most of the time.

Cheers. Might start off with the stereo setup + sub and just improve it with time. Thanks for the advice on audio cards, didn't know it was that important. I'll look into getting a proper one.
  9. What's a 220 Kamel? Is it the same to a 221 Kamel as the 221Pr was to the 221Ti?
  10. Just need a few more people and this will turn into a 10 page row I'm sure he can do 70" to rear wheel and I'm going to protect that statement with my life. I'm going to lmao at everybody who disagrees and put forward untrue statistics to make me sound awesome.
  11. I'd actually place my bet on Marco Grosenik, his bunnyhops are insane and he does them over bars as well. I'm pretty sure that if you looked at BMX bunnyhop records you'd get a much better picture of what is possible nowadays.
  12. Yeah, exactly my thoughts. I only ever ride skateparks if they are empty. Needless to say there aren't any proper ones in this silly country anyway. Luke, what's that thing in your avatar? I want to squeeze it.
  13. You bloody twats delete these images STAT. This is neither funny nor interesting. I nearly threw up.

So what, I won't benefit from good speakers because I'm playing music off my PC? Is it really THAT bad? I can hear the difference between my iPod and a PC on headphones, but on speakers it all sounds pretty much the same to me. And why wouldn't I want a sub? These things need explaining people :$
  15. The new forks have them on the front, the old ones had them on the rear but I'm pretty sure there were some batches of Urbans with front mounts in the past as well.
  16. Didn't Koxx recently do something very similar? I mean that strange white frame Aurelian was riding in 2007.

Thanks, that's essentially what I'm looking for - advice on what sounds good to give me a general idea of what to look for. I'd like 5.1 since i rarely sit ahead of my pc, usually sideways or doing something nearby. A surround system would work much better for that. I'm basically looking for something to listen to music on - trance house and electro, no movies. I'm at the stage of completely refurbishing my room and getting rid of and replacing anything that doesn't work properly or is bodged. I'm pretty fussy when it comes to audio so I'd really like to get the best set I can afford. Better buy once than live with a bad set for the next 10 years and keep thinking about replacing them. I was looking at a brand called Koda, after much trouble I've found these in a store in the UK. What do you think? It's almost within my price range since I just need the speakers.
  18. Good to see you're trying to mix your riding with interesting moves rather than just looking for the biggest gaps and walls. Looking forward to the full vid.

I'm looking for advice on what speakers to get. To keep it simple - 5.1 for under 450 quid. There's quite a lot to choose from but I can't find a decent guide anywhere which would help me choose the best ones for the money. Most either concentrate on speakers which cost thousands, or those plastic POS like Creative or Logitech which surely can't be any good. I've been to various audio stores and listened to sets which I like but all those were way too expensive. So no luck in listening to something I could actually afford. The size is also fairly important, I've currently got 2 speakers which are around 40x40x100cm each and they take up way too much space. Height isn't much of an issue, it's just that they'd better be slim. Obviously this doesn't apply to the sub. If any of you have any idea what's worth going for, could you post some names/links up? Cheers
  20. Because it's supposedly the same as a Forxx which means it has less rake than the average trials fork.
