  1. 35-40 feels great. Running 45 at the moment, wouldn't mind if it were a bit lower.
  2. Exactly - steel M8/M5 insert. Works brilliantly.
  3. Been calling them all day today and all day yesterday. No luck.
  4. TRA made a guide which should have been turned into a sticky. Too tired to search for it though. If you've got your technique right but can't hold the bike on the rear wheel, I suggest you just use less speed, don't lean forwards so much when you're doing the tap and try to pull the bike up and ahead of you, not up and under. Another thing might be not to hit the front wheel too low. If the walls are under say 40", try hitting them hard on the edge.
  5. Pics not working again Imageshack anyone? Very impressive weight. I'm going to get mine a bit lighter when the Echo SL parts are in but I'll only be saving about 1kg from the front end which doesn't make much of a difference when riding. It's the rear wheel/bb area that's so important. Should be interesting to see how much it weighs once it's done though.
  6. Good shoes, I've had mine since 2005 and they're still holding up well. Mighty good investment, they cost 3,5p a day to wear.
  7. Oh right, for some reason I thought it had 390mm stays. Sounds almost identical to the 2004 Pure just with more bb rise.
  8. I'd say neither. The TP is a horrible frame, the old Zoo has pretty out of date geometry - the rear end is really long from what I remember. Why not get something else like a Control? They're amazing all round frames.
  9. Don't know yet, need to give it a good ride first The 170/18:16 must be the better all round setup, after all it's popular for a reason.
  10. Used to run 158mm cranks on a 18:17 ratio. Thanks to their length, you could spin them really quickly and rolling moves weren't a problem. Same applied to gaps and other stuff, they made the drivetrain really responsive. I'm now running 170 on 18:16 gearing, it feels noticeably heavier despite the greater leverage. The only real benefits of running shorter cranks is that you can spin them more quickly and retain greater stability while doing so. But it's a very minor advantage, something you'll notice when you switch over. It wears off almost instantly though.
  11. You could search by looking at The Scientist's posts. I'm pretty sure he made quite a few in that topic.
  12. Trials-Forum Video -> Full View • Download • Upload Here's WvK1, 2 wasn't as good.
  13. Yeah exactly. They're not advertising it as something that will help you organise your life as they would with a PDA. It's just meant to be a gadget which you can justify buying since it has a few practical applications in day to day life.
  14. Yeah that's my point exactly. I'm now running 18:16 on horizontal dropouts and the chainstays are bang on 375mm. The chain is really tight too. Either way, even 0,5mm will make a big difference here because that length is doubled when it comes to chain length.
  15. Current setup, found a program which makes dual displays much easier to work on. 2 toolbars for ze win. Shame there aren't 2 start buttons though. Any idea if there's a program which duplicates those?
  16. He probably meant the 1st song, not Dreams. Let's face it, it's crap But other than that the music was spot on.
  17. Ford F something? Or a Dodge... Give us something european, not just this american crap
  18. Yeah, was looking for dramatic pics of cyclones and this came up Didn't know this was a well known car, the idea of having a 50 year old concept is already odd enough.
  19. Shame, you looked so good on a stock. Get a stock
  20. This came up in a google search, made me wonder if Jarrod would guess what it is
  21. Whey! Thanks for putting Deep Dish in that vid. Still think #1 was best but this one is on a really similar level. But it's way too long, it'll be nearly impossible to re-watch the good bits because they'll be impossible to find.
