  1. Couldn't be bothered to comment in the old topic. People need to understand that there's more to a trials frame than the lack of seat. That's why progress was so painful in the 90's, they didn't understand that geometry was important and just kicked the seats out or put them as low as possible making it a thoroughbred trials bike.
  2. Not keen on the looks to be honest. White tyres just look wrong. The frame itself is a beauty though, will be getting one some time this/next year edit: Adam, could you explain the geometry for me? You write this frame clears 18:16T gear ratio but the CS length is 380mm. For 18:16 it should be ~375 or ~377 for 18:15. So how do you get 380mm? What's the adjustability of the CS length on that frame?
  3. Well, I might just add that I felt the same after a London ride back in 2006. Really friendly people, great atmosphere and I'm not surprised all you guys ride so well. It's the fact you all push yourselves and help each other out with moves. If I got to ride with Chai and Staples more frequently, I'd be a totally different rider now. Quite an amazing community.
  4. Putting aside all the negative aspects of this change, it'll be interesting to see which class wins. A couple of years ago it would definitely be mod but now stock riders/bikes have progressed so much that in UCI there isn't that much difference.
  5. I wouldn't use foam grips, from my experience they're worse than rubber ones. Try to get hold of some old Monty rubber grips, they were a bit thicker and softer than the Echos. And I'd also ditch using creams. Your skin needs to get hard and softening/healing it won't help in the long run nor will getting rid of your blisters. Don't use gloves either. Maybe you've got unusually fragile skin but that's what usually helps.
  6. Hope this is the right thread to ask about such things Does anybody know the tune @6:20? Can't really catch the lyrics Youtube Video -> ">" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350">

    Nice, unusual move.

Isn't that like 2 or 3 years old?
  9. Can't really compare the two. They have a completely different geometry and personally i find handlebars influence the way a bike rides almost as much as a frame does. The TA will feel like Onzas on a longer and higher stem. Depends what you prefer. I'd recommend Tryalls since they're quite similar (or identical) to Montys and those are brilliant.
  10. Good to see lots of variation at your level of riding. Keep it up!
  11. f**k me! I didn't think we'd be seeing people building up bikes on these frames. Beauty
  12. Like the colour combo a lot Cool bike
  13. Unfortuantely not Max Maybe next year
  14. Mint bike! You sure that half link chain is a good idea?
  15. QUOTE (joe b @ Mar 18 2008, 03:50 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Disappointed that your name isn't Inur for some bizarre reasn though .Haha Yeah, many people think that. It's quite easy to pronounce in polish, very difficult in English. I remember some guys having quite a problem on a London ride a few years ago. Was pretty funny I'll be PM'ing you within the next week or two about some parts Thanks a lot guys for the comments. It's really great to see so much support, makes me want to ride. Been having problems with motivation recently but this has helped a lot
  16. Need to apologize about this (ban me for 24 hours if you want Tom but keep my post). If indeed Bartek officially claims that he didn't design this frame, an apology is due from my side. If that is really the truth, me and many other fellow riders were manipulated by Bartek over the last few months into believing that this was his design. Lastly, my post was made with his approval for which I have evidence since we discussed this over a messenger service. That is all. Good luck with your new range of products. And a statement from Rav@BTBike: Good to know that this matter has been solved. Please accept my apologies for my rash accusations about copying designs. New Onza products look fantastic. Keep up the good work.
  17. Cheers Thought about it a number of times but once I got up there it seemed a bit too big. Need to practice my gaps
  18. file>export>adobe media encoder lots of formats and millions of settings
  19. That's lush! Dan told me about these, didn't expect them to look as good as that
  20. Brilliant! Great music, editing and riding. I love your Ozonys as well Still running 18:17?
  21. No need, you can get them for that price within the EU = no duty o tax
  22. This is totally illogical. 231K frames are available to riders for about 500 pounds in other European countries yet in the UK the price tag is 2,5 times higher. Having set it that high, none will be imported due to the lack of interest.
