  1. Cheers for all the comments people, really appreciated! And yes, I do run an easy gear, it's 18:17 which works perfectly with an un-stretched K710
  2. It can be done, you need to slide two thin strips into two opposing sides of the spline. Not easy as with a square taper but it works.
  3. I'm definitely new school although I've been riding for ages. However, as far as videos go I far prefer the oldschool style to what we see nowadays. It's just more interesting probably because it's different
  4. By the way Dimitri, what is the current waiting time for a custom Triton frame? Last year when I was going to order it was something like 2 months

Great editing, great music and mint riding. I love the way you do those 180 spins with the excessive head movement Be careful not to snap your spine
  6. Click You should understand from just looking at the pics. aspirevelotech for bearings?
  7. Haha, that frame is really funny, looks like an old man. But that photoshoppage looks great EDIT: It seems that with Monty, evolution is a long and really painful process. Since the early 90's they've only had 3 major designs, the square bottom tube frame, the early 00's X-Lite and the Ti's which were lowered X-Lites. Now they've finally done something cool and trendy but had to add a bit of crap to the design. They should add a sticker to the frame saying "nothing's happened to my frame, it's supposed to be like that".
  8. Lovely I'm sure those brakes work almost as well as maguras And the quality of the welds, it's absolutely amazing! Sure is worth the money
  9. Cheers Yeah forgot to mention that, this scruffy guy walked up to me and asked in a rather funny way where he can find some tarts on this street, because he heard that they were (literally) "trespassing" around this area.
  10. Greetings

    My Winter Vid

Just from a few days of riding as I don't have much time recently Tried to keep it a bit more interesting this time, not just sidehop/tap/gap etc. added some lines and spins. Changing frame to something a bit more ridable soon, so I'll come up with a better vid in a few months. Tell me what you think. inur_winter
  11. Wouldn't use DOT or any alcohol stronger than wine.
  12. And do you not have problems with snakebites? How heavy is your rear wheel in total? I've got a 400g tube and it seems to do it's job well, but only just. A bit thinner and I'd be doing a lot of pumping out in the streets and no wanking at home.
  13. Erm, how long does it take for Youtube to "process" the video? Mine is taking ages ok here it is QahP-q9OhX8 a bit shit because i was tired after about 6 hours of riding and i've got a stupid frame
  14. I'd personally go for ZOO forks, they're fairly short which is what you want with such a long frame. Sorry, didn't realize you were going to use vees. Ashtons maybe? They're of awful quality but hold up rather well, plus they're short and beefy and have a steel steerer.
  15. Just wondering, what tubes tyres and front wheel are you using? I'm a weight pervert as well but can't get under 10,2kgs without having at least 5 snakebites each ride. And what pedals are those?
  16. It's lovely, a bit oldschool Bet it's great for streety stuff!
  17. My mate had a Speedrace, it wasn't bad at all. Nevertheless it's still a cheap and low quality frame comparing to Deng's stuff. Don't like the looks of that other frame, it's too thin.
  18. U6 is a 6000 series alloy that has undergone some kind of process in low temperatures. Basically, it's better for making frames than the 7000 series if you get that process right. I don't think Onza have, seeing how many of these frames snap. In other words you shouldn't be disappointed about having a 7005 frame.
  19. Why won't you people wear helmets?
  20. Serves those bloody wax fetishists right! I've landed on my butt countless times because of waxed rails or walls! And no, I've never used tar on rails but it apparently helps. Going to get a delivery of Monty pine spray soon, will see if that works well on rails.
  21. I'd say Coustelliers, they're pretty much the best pads for any surface.
  22. started off with trials but also did a lot of freeride and downhill, then went into street but kept mixing my riding with trials so i just stuck to trials in the end
  23. Thought they made a new video
  24. Is this funny sport where people ride freewheel-less bikes with no brakes and non-releasing SPDs around a track and have nasty accidents already in the olimpics? Trials has more of a chance than bmx in my opinion.
