  1. Jake i thought you were blond and had large boobs. You're very similar to Anzo if you're the guy on the right.

    Bars?

I'd go for some 06 Ti bars and have them extended to a ridable width. They do have amazing geometry
  3. Well, why should it be any thicker than a normal rotor? It probably already weighs way more than the wheel itself. And what a silly idea to mount the rotor on the rim... If the wheel isn't perfectly straight you'll get so much drag you probably won't be able to ride.
  4. I really liked that! It was a bit too long but nevertheless the riding was great. Keep it up!
  5. Could do this myself but if you want some practice, here you go: black frame, black rims, pink hubs please cheers
  6. Could somebody explain to me why this should happen to a freehub but not to a normal hub for a screw-on sprocket?
  7. A hope on a mod is much more powerful than maguras. If you ride urban get a disc because you probably won't hit it, if natural then go for a magura.
  8. No, google gives you the average exchange rate. You're buying dollars so you will pay more than the average rate. If you'd be selling them, you'd get less. That's how banks earn some of their money.
  9. 30-45 business days is 6-9 weeks and that's how long this kind of shipping takes although I would have thought it'd be much more expensive than 40 pounds. I'd never buy anything from China, there are way too many crooks there. This bike's worth about 4-5 grand and you got it for 80 pounds. Ok fair enough, production costs are very low but for christ sake, this is carbon fibre, 1 square metre 3mm thick costs about 300 pounds and that's just the material!! Ask him to take a picture of a piece of paper with your user name written down, and with the bike in the background. That will at least give you some idea about whether he's actually got what he's selling. edit: oh and if it arrives, be prepared to pay tax for it... and for the love of god get some good evidence that you bought it for 80 quid!! I edit2: haha i actually asked him to send me a pic with my user name on it, this is what i got in reply (in a matter of 2 minutes from when i sent my email). For anyone who has ever dealt with the Chinese, the response time will already be suspicious! Shops take days, sometimes weeks to reply...
  10. Had one and it was great. Instant engagement on mods due to the gear ratio which gives 108 clicks per rotation on the cranks. Never skipped once when riding properly although I did have to keep tightening it at the beginning which was a bit annoying. Go for it, aspirevelotech will sort you out with one for 200. And yes, the hub shell is from a classic and the drive shell I think is from a Single Speed. Comes with a heavy duty axle but the drive shell is aluminum?
  11. Actually there's a vid up on the net where some guys in new york lock their bike to poles and then "steal" it in various ways to see how the public reacts. They did in fact use an angle grinder on one occasion, connected it to a traffic lights box or something similar, put all the safety gear on (gloves, goggles) and cut the lock open. Nobody took interest in what was happening.
  12. Biketrial.eu There's a short vid of Rafal Pisarski test riding the BT 7.0 in the middle of the page and on the 2nd page there's the Autumn ride with a bit of action on that bike as well.
  13. he's running a 180 now, as for the wheel flex i think it's a fairly standard issue with dual disc bikes but something you can easily get used to
  14. to tighten the freewheel you need to turn the lockring counter clockwise how the hell did you undo that freewheel? you need to take it off the cranks first as i understand?
  15. You can get a 07 mono trials from CRC for 112 They've got a 10% discount
  16. Woo that Monty sure did bring a smile to my face, then I realized it's my old one Beautiful bike, those white rims do go well with it!
  17. Junior Jack maybe, I don't really have a favorite
  18. yeah, i had problems with him as well although he did send the parcel off fairly quickly. he just hardly packed the frame and it came all dented and with missing headset parts read peoples references thread before you buy, if they appear not to have one, search the references forum
  19. happy b-day mate!!!!! have a good one!!!!!!

  20. Having read yet another topic about how sh*t the Try-All freewheels are, I was wondering how many people have had problems with their Montys? Apparently the only difference between the Monty and Try-All is the amount of junk inside them but some say the Monty are actually more reliable. How good are they? edit: Pauloliver, not really asking about what freewheel to get, interested in how good the Monty's are
  21. Empattement général: 1085 mm Bases arrières: 385 mm Angle de direction: 72° Hauteur du boitier de pédalier: +0mm
  22. Topic A tap is basically when you do a pedal up and hit the front wheel against the wall, it gives a lot more power. I think you can start tapping 30" walls although the technique is totally different to doing a tap onto something much larger. I tap anything above 28" because I couldn't be bothered to do a pedal up, it's such a waste of energy. The largest I've done was 48". oh and you don't tap mods, i'm sure Tart will agree with me on this one?
  23. always liked those frames, they look amazing great bike, crap pictures
  24. At a guess the 22T Middleburn bash will be just fine for a 24T chainring. After all 16T are ok for 18T chainrings
