  1. Nice Chilled and quite controlled. Still think you look wrong in that helmet
  2. Wow that's beautiful! Got to get myself one again...
  3. bad times Substructure - Firewire good times Junior Jack - E Samba Junior Jack - Stupidisco
  4. Cheers for the reply. Is the Marta weaker than the Louise in terms of mechanical advantage? And in what terms is the brake delicate? Do you mean the rotor is thin, or is the lever not ready to take the abuse of trials?
  5. Lovely! The rear rim looks glossy, did you do something to it? I thought the standard ones were matte silver.
  6. solitaire i mean it, spend a good half an hour a day playing it
  7. Getting myself a mod quite soon and obviously it has to be dual disc. I don't want to spend heaps of money on Hope Trials as those brakes will cost nearly as much as my new bike, nor do I want to buy cable actuated brakes. So I was thinking about some other brakes like the Louise or Marta. A pair of these cost about as much or even less than a single Hope. T33zr seems to be running the Martas and says they're quite good but fragile. Rode a Louise on the front wheel and it seemed quite powerful but I'm more concerned about how it will be like on the rear. I could probably use a 180mm rotor as on my previous setup but I'd rather stick to 160 for weight and clearance reasons. Asking about the Louise and Marta because they're quite commonly used on mods, any other ideas about brakes within their price range would be welcome.
  8. Learn to sidehop to my bad side Maybe learn a few basic switchfoot moves Hit the 130cm mark with taps and learn to do them properly, so far it's only been luck when it comes to stuff over 110cm Ride loads of rocks!!!
  9. That site looks totally rubbish. If people don't care about the "look" of their shop, I doubt they'll care about anything else. Just stick to Tartybikes. I've only once bought from another shop which was Selectbikes and I'll never do it again.
  10. pensamiento justo del pozo i dejaría un comentario y vería si el google realmente trabaja. espero que entiendas qué se escribe aquí

  11. This is an internet forum and you have to expect people to treat and judge you by the way you express yourself - as it is done in real life. Besides, you're also judging me although you have never met me. Conclusions? edit: I never wrote (or didn't intend to write) that you're retarded. That was in reference to the attitude that you can neglect spelling if it's not important at work. A language is the most basic element of each culture, you can't neglect it. And, I can't see there being any strong connection between good education and the ability to spell correctly - hence (according to you) me judging peoples education by their spelling sounds a bit wrong. English is a very easy language to spell, you try Polish one day Your friend might be well off - fine. He might work on a building sight - great, in my opinion laborers are as (if not more) important in our society as ie. a manager or politician. But really, that's not the point is it.
  12. Sorry, that's just retarded. If you have no idea how to spell, in my opinion your just an idiot. The language is a basic way of communicating and now that we have mass media which internet can be classed as, spelling is all the more important as this type of communication is based upon writing and not speaking. Sorry bud, but that's the silliest explanation I've heard in my life. So, either the administrator would have to set up a system which you would pay with (sounds complicated and time consuming), and when paid it would automatically upgrade, or he'd have to receive the money through paypal and manually upgrade each member. Can't see that being any easier. Also, about 5-7% of the forum are non-uk people. They can only pay by credit card and what if they don't have one? You might not, but for someone who's never used it and never will, text talk and "msn talk" is just a sign of laziness. Is it really hard to type 2 or 3 more letters and make the word understandable for everybody? When I browse the forum and see somebody writing "y are hydrolic breaks bettr" I automatically assume he's an idiot. If this forum is going to learn even a small bunch of people not to use text talk, it's been really beneficial for their future life.
  13. Exactly 10656g for urban riding and ~9,8kg for indoor comp use (different pedals, inner tubes and rear tyre).
  14. Apparently it's the Zhi G1's that cracked. Not sure where though.
  15. About 40 nm's got validated for Christmas which lead to a big increase in the amount of crap posts in members forums. This just shows that most new members are just not ready to post in the members forum. Besides, quite a few people have been validated after writing one or two posts so it's only down to you to make those sensible posts. If you expect a promotion at work, you need to prove yourself worthy, and not go off to the manager to complain you've not been promoted.
  16. Greetings

That gap at the beginning !!!! Anybody measured it?
  17. Liking what Concussion has come up with. That could be really powerful providing the piston has the right diameter. Another advantage is that the bolts for mounting such a brake would be much higher from V-mounts allowing for less flex of the frame/forks. Liking the Coustsink brake pads, or are they Wright Pads? The pad material looks a bit black.
  18. Click Just wondering how fast you people can type? I got 96wpm @ 6,5 mistakes per minute. What's yours?
  19. What I wrote only applies to the 1st batch of frames which would be the ZM1 and the 1st Zhi stock frame (the one with the horizontal dropouts). I have no idea how the new ones are.
  20. Sony HC1000E At the time this was the cheapest Sony 3CCD camera. In 2006 it was discontinued and replaced with the HDR series. Cost over 1 grand but it was well worth it. The only thing I don't like about it is the focusing ring is electronic and not mechanical. It's really hard to learn to use it accurately. Great colours, very good sound and it works well for night shots (hasn't got an IR module though but it doesn't really need one).
  21. nice bike, are those gusset pedals? how do they grip?
  22. Sorry, don't like it at all. Coloured rims or hubs are ok, but anything apart from that is just pushing it.
  23. Apparently the Zhi frames are rather weak despite them being made in the same factory and from the same materials as Deng frames. So just for that reason I'd choose an Adamant. You can't really go wrong with Deng's frames, they are the strongest on the market. edit (to the guy below) - that's because you've only had Zhi frames in the UK for a short period of time. From all I know a large amount of these frames my end have cracked after a few months of use.
  24. Probably a video from Germany, difficult to choose which one exactly. TRA Austria I also thought Biff's 4th vid was really good, mainly due to the editing and music.
