  1. Greetings

    Chacha

He said he needed it for a science project and the image he received looks more suitable
  2. Anyone could test Vista at one stage and anyone who reported an error would receive an original 6000 RTM build. This constant bitching does piss me off, never met him and probably never will but he's a sound guy over MSN. He's also the only English person I bought a bike part off who didn't scam me or "forget to mention something". Lay off people...
  3. Never - if it applies to rails, sidehops and big stuff. I fail about 3 sidehops a year which is enough to keep me off riding for a good 2 weeks every time I fall off
  4. Disc mounts need facing Disc brake pads are contaminated Chain hasn't been changed for 19 months (think i'll see how long it lasts before it snaps) Rear chainring is worn, need a proper CK type one. Cranks hitting my Magura Chain tensioner needs re-making as it bends too easily Rear end is far too heavy!
  5. I thought Marco Blau was Swiss?
  6. Got a few mates over. Not partying as I've got a big exam coming up on Wednesday and Friday and need to be fully sober and hangover-free tomorrow. It's already 2007 over here. I'm Mr Future.
  7. http://s134.photobucket.com/albums/q87/ste...th_PC260005.jpg remove the "th_" part
  8. Left, sidehop to the left, last year to the right. Add Vincent to both, I've seen him do most of the moves switch footed.
  9. Immense video, it's probably the 1st one I've seen in my life where I was actually scared you'd kill yourselves. Another thing that struck me was that the camera alone is probably worth more than all the cars out on the streets put together. Blu-ray recorders... where do you guys get all that stuff from
  10. My guess is it's Ashton and Hawyes.
  11. Just added 2 new setups
  12. Let's sign on it, come on, don't be shy! On a more serious note, hope you get this off fairly soon, must be quite frustrating to live with a cast
  13. They're 74mm wide right? I'm not sure if they're strong, from all I know they were specially made to run the Surly 4" slick tires.
  14. I'd say Nike Cortez all the way!
  15. Thanks a lot people. Having seen how many replies this topic had to treat myself to a beer and crisps before reading them. I guess every single one of you has made a good point. It's hard to sum it all up, but after reading this thread I have realized how many things there are in trials that I'm missing - especially what Rowan wrote about using the brake as little as possible, and Lankyricky about eliminating correction hops and unnecessary moves. This is something I used to do and completely forgot about after getting a stock. I'm on the verge of going dual disc again which was the main thing that pushed me towards a new level of riding about a year ago. Partz - indeed that is a great game, we played it with a couple of mates on the rocks one day, really makes you think hard after the 6th jump . Alternatively you can play knockout and take turns jumping onto a medium sized wall. As funny as this may sound, I now feel like riding again. Some of you mentioned rocks. The closest good spot is 7 hours by train from where I live. We do have a park in which there are quite a few rocks but they're fairly small and usually very close to each other which makes them nothing more but a good spot to ride on once every year. If anyone has anything more to add, please do!
  16. Greetings

    Rage Bar?

When will people stop judging parts by their prices? Monty, Try-All (Koxx), Echo, Zhi are ALL made in the same factory. Sorry, but that's a shit explanation.
  17. Flood the taper with WD40, wait 10 minutes or so, then get on the bike and pedal around until they drop off.
  18. A chain apart from the hub is the second thing you don't want to save weight and money on in a trials bike. Just get a KHE chain, mine's been used in 8 different bikes throughout the past 19 months, hasn't snapped once.
  19. I love it So many new buttons to check out er?
  20. Seen these a good month ago but from a different angle. They look very nasty and cheap. They're very similar to the Maguras (needless to say it's hard to make a hydro rim brake that won't be), hope Deng doesn't have any problems with Magura as he had with Mr. Coustellier after releasing the Pitbull in 2004.
  21. Missing one thing - the fact you pay for something (in taxes for example) doesn't mean that what the money has been spent on is yours. A wall isn't yours, it's public property - nor is a nuclear weapon if your money has gone for building it. I get seriously pissed off if somebody says I'm destroying something and I'm not - mainly because my bike has enough ground clearance that it's impossible to hit a normal wall with a bash. I do however understand they can be pissed off if indeed there is proof that one has destroyed a wall. Spots you ride on are very often visited by hundreds of people a day - no wonder they want those spots to look respectable. And it will very often be those people who live nearby that will complain. They made a very nice park near my city's centre, now half the walls are covered in wax because of these stupid skateborders. Now that's something I find offending.
