  1. 1st time its ever happened to me. The pallet that moved ended up 10ft or so away from where i was
  2. Ive heard thats not recommended!! I should have seen the obvious happen with wet pallets but there you go >_<
  3. Dont stack wet pallets on top of each other then try to gap to them!! They slip from under the bike and leave u in a crumpled heap on the floor with claret coming out of your arm!!! Wont be doing that again in a hurry lol
  4. I started back when dirt came out i think. Scott domett (sp) was riding a few rocks n drops in the vid. Then getta grip came out and it was game on! Back then i was riding a 19" Orange clockwork!! Snapped 2 of them before getting a heavy tools trials frame when they 1st came out. That lasted years untill i recently got back into trials and got me a zoo pitbull
  5. You should be able to get them from any branch as far as i know. Its basically a cheque written by the bank instead of yourself. Its more likely to be paid and not bounce that way.
  6. The martins for me. Back when i started to get into trials, they were just starting to get trials noticed in the mainstream.
  7. I ride stock a ive never got on with 20" wheels either in bmx or trials form.
  8. Going for a chinese then to a mates fireworks (Y)
  9. Ive heard nothing but good things on the maxxis tyres. Im certainly going to get maxxis when i get new tyres
  10. Thats a pic from one of hans' old videos iirc
  11. I use a small philips screw driver to push the star fangled nut down the steerer. Then a grinder to slice the end of tube off
  12. Im really bad for not wearing a helmet. However, the one day i did, i fell n smacked my head on the road! I still havent learnt (Y)
  13. Try car bodyshops. I would imagine they would do it for a small fee.
  14. Welcome to the forum fella. Totally sound advice there (Y)
  15. If getting new pads is a an issue then finding some tar or getting a grind would defo improve the braking on standard magura pads
  16. Wet riding bad (Y) I hate getting wet, i meen really hate it lol
  17. Two things id check. A crank thats slightly lose or the freewheel lose
  18. Ive found my new zoo harder to get the front wheel up at times but once its up, its much more stable than my old bike. Just gota adapt riding styles to suit the ride. A higher rise stem might help lift the front put could cause issues for you doing another move.
  19. Amen!!! I hate riding in the wet so i avoid it at all costs!!
  20. Have tried both a grind and tar. Found the grind much better and more consistant
  21. I ordered a new frame and other goodies from tarty bikes on the thursday and was looking forward to building it up today and riding it tomorrow as the sun is shining! However, royal mail have pissed on my bonfire by not getting it here in time. Now i have to wait until monday before it arrives and ive got jack all to do. Id planned my weekend around the new bike. Cant be arsed to build up the old frame again for 2 days Grrrrr.... B)
  22. Which bikes come with high Bb's? Obviously the vinco, but how many others do?
  23. That wasnt when they did YOU BET was it? I saw that back when i 1st started riding mtb's and that inspired me to ride trials! I also remember the 1st magazine shoot ashton n hawyes did. They had day-glo clothes on n were doing sidehops of around 43" that at the time were a record height! Ashton, and to a lesser extent hawyes, were the 1st in this country to push bike trials into the public domain and are the fathers of the sport in this country!! Imo, ashton is probably doing less and less as a result of injury and age. I doubt his body copes to well with riding day in, day out any more. Last i saw him he had knee supports on during a demo.
