  1. The police always take ages to sort the paper work out. I was taken to court over a speeding offense and it took over 2 months for them to contact me.
  2. I do find it ironic that one of britains most infamous alcoholics dies the week that 24 hour drinking properly kicked in legally.
  3. Your only covered 3rd party if your own insurance states this in writting or you are a named driver on the owners policy. Most insurance companies dont cover drivers under the age of 25 for 3rd party insurance as they are a higher risk and theres the chance you could insure a 1ltr fiat panda then drive an evo on 3rd party.
  4. Its the second death to hot the rally scene this year (Y) 1st Michael Parks died during the rally of GB after a bad crash and now Richard Burns. A sad year for the WRC
  5. I think driving without insurance carries a fine of up to £1000 and 6-12 penalty points. It will most probably be a court hearing too which would be why you havent heard much yet. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but ive had my scrapes with the local plod enough times due to my car.
  6. Exactly what i was going to say. Ive had near misses using tar a few years back. Id rather ride with a smooth rim rather than tar these days 10/10 for actually landing the drop though and not faceplanting from up there. You wouldnt be riding for a long time if you had
  7. I was pretty useless with a pc untill we had a new epos system put in at my old job. I ended up looking after the server and all the workstations in between my other work. When stuff went tits up the IT techies would talk me through fixes and show me how to do certain things.
  8. I never really seen much point in using trials specific shoes unless your riding comps. I use vans skate shoes and have never found them a problem to ride in.
  9. I rode trials for a couple of years back when i was 16/17 then didnt really ride for 5 years or so. Never sold the bike, i started messing around on it when the missus wanted to go on bike rides in the summer. Since then ive got proper back into it. Bought a new frame and other bits and ride almost every day now lol
  10. I use garnier fructis strong hold gel. Not only does it hold hair well, but it smells nice too. Plus, women like the smell!!

  12. What alot of people dont realise is that alcoholism is an illness. People can get addicted to drugs or smoking etc. There are ways to help get off of these either with doctors prescriptions or through patches etc depending on what it is your addicted to. There is nothing for alcoholics. The only option is will power and the help of those closest to you. George best managed to go dry before his liver transplant. He waited for over a year on a waiting list before he was found a suitable match. Unfortunately, personal problems after the op caused him to return to the drink. He has then been on and off the booze ever since. I personally think george best was a legend and should be remembered for his footballing skills, not his off pitch antics. It was after all, his football genius that put him in the public eye, and probably contributed to his downfall too. I say RIP george
  13. I learnt trials on a 17" orange clockwork :'( It had wider bars than usual and i upgraded to xt v brakes (the parrallel push ones). They were the good old days, shame it snapped really lol.

    Tar?

I never got on with tar. I found the pads got stuck to it a bit and wouldnt release quickly. Since discovering the joys of a grind, ive not looked back
  15. Ive got a fixed speed grinder but i use the edge of the cutting disc and move it across the rim fairly quick.
  16. Ive gone from the relativly short heavy tools frame to a 05 pitbull 1065. It took a few days to get used to the geo of the frame but after that i was laughing. I can hop higher, gap further, ride more controlled and do it with less effort.
  17. Um.... mine! An 05 zoo pitbull Ive built it up for how i like it too ride. Ive literally had it 4 weeks and already ive improved 100% over riding a short wheelbase frame. Only problem is i need a front disc, my maggies cant hold my weight when gapping to front wheel
  18. I really like the caisso frame. Looks a nice build to. Respect for getting that rim sent from the states :'(
  19. Id get a lower gear ratio on there with a bash ring. Learning without is going to cause tears. Also for trials, idealy, a rigid fork is best as they are lighter, you have a better feel through the bars and more control. There isnt really an ideal set-up as everyone is different, but certain parts will help.
  20. If you have a wide tyre on the bike already then you shouldnt have any problems
  21. Ive heard good things about the zoo cranks although ive not used them myself
  22. A hamlet! what good's a cigar gonna do?! I remember that day dude lol, we were waiting for the train to oxford
  23. Too much of just drops. I like a bit more variety in my vids! Good riding though of what i saw
  24. I changed from similar sized bike, the heavy tools, to a zoo pitbull 1060. It has helped my riding no end, i find it much easier to ride. Im 6ft tall but my other half is 5'7 and she doesnt find it too big to ride. Just chose a shorter stem if you find your stretching over the bike
