  1. Since when has he been a Pirate? He is a fishing boat captain... I'd be Indiana Jones (if movie characters were real - not Harrison Ford).
  2. and Not 100% sure when they are due to come out, but i'm looking forward to seeing "Villeneuve" and the new Indiana Jones film.
  3. If you do choose to go down the DLSR road, then it may be worth looking for something like a Canon 300d, it isn't the latest model out or anything, but you can probably pick one up for a reasonable price on Ebay with a few extra lenses/flash/other accessories - then if you do get pretty into it you will still have some reasonable equipment, and if not - then it is no huge waste of money.
  4. London Zoo. The Circle Line. (Do at least two laps to take in the full experience).
  5. When I was at work one time (in a room on my own) I heard some one say my name in a very deep gruffly voice, then the lights flickered on and off for a bit. Other people have had similar experiences with the lights and name calling (including my mum) in that same room.
  6. I have been doing it for a few years now, but will hopefully be jumping on the "pro" bandwagon sometime soon.
  7. It would be pretty funny if someone found it, some how got it out, and put the empty container back... or even better... moved it so when the volvo people go to dig it up, they are like, "damn, where did we put it again?" Although it would be pretty much impossible to do. But the thought is funny... (Or is it just me).
  8. just out of curiosity... how many people use the term cyclotrials? i've never heard/used it before... just wondered as i always refered to it as bicycle trials - or am i just weird.
  9. has anyone heard the Jazzy Jeff & Fresh Prince song "girls ain't nothing but trouble?"... its an awesome awesome song, and it 110% relates to this thread, so i recommend everyone checks it out. keep on truckin'
  10. edit actually - i don't want to give anyone bad ideas...
  11. awesome! i've wanted a pet tortoise for years now... are they easy to look after? some people who live near me have/had one - oddly enough it was a pretty quick mover.
  12. I know this is a trials forum, but after reading this thread I thought some of you may be able to help me/offer some advice... I would like to buy either a road bike or an XC bike... not to sure which yet, but I only have a budget of about £500 (possibly a little more)... so does anyone have any recommendations? I want a reasonable spec.... but will probably upgrade things as time goes on. I was looking at the GT Avalanche 1.0 (v-brake version) for an XC bike, as the components look reasonable for the price... As for road bikes... I have no idea, i've had a little look around but i'm not to sure whats good/bad. Any help is appreciated.

  15. Will Smith - Getting Jiggy With It!
  16. I'd say its all about having a strong portfolio/client list etc... Although I have found being on a two year (full time) photography course has helped me gain a lot of knowledge about the subject, which subsequently has helped me in the above areas... (or more so than if I hadn't done the course). I don't think it matters that much though, at the end of the day - if your works good then its good.
  17. i'm not voting simply because i don't know enough about politics to have a valid and fair opinion.
  18. This time he is inside a fish bowl. Info I get the impression most people dont like him - personally, I think the stuff he does is pretty impressive, can't really say why... I just do. What d'yall think?
  19. Giancarlo. Has a nice ring to it.
  20. Saving Private Ryan Apollo 13 Wicker Park Back To The Future Trilogy Forest Gump Catch Me If You Can Its to hard to choose, so I will leave it at that. Pretty much anything with Tom Hanks.
  21. The picture of the robin is a bit under-exposed, and the composition seems a little cluttereed... a shallower depth of field would have helped. (Edit: Use a larger aperture than f8, this would of also solved the under-exposure) But other than that I think its a pretty cool shot. The other shot seems good as well, except I would have perhaps included a bit more of the surrounding area, like some foreground interest to perhaps give the shot a little more perspective. Other than that, looks pretty good. Keep it up. Perhaps sign up to Deviant Art - should get some feedback on there.
  22. AOP - Loads on here. Documentary photographers: Martin Parr Steve Mccurry Experimental/Abstract photographer: Adam Deal Landscapes: Charlie Waite And my personal favourite photographer: Joe Cornish . Oh and Link might be of some use... Edit: or do you mean you want somewhere to upload your photos? Like someone said above Deviant Art is good and so is Flickr
