I did... Try typing in 'mod with vee brake' or 'mod v brake' etc etc. And see what you come up with. Even if you change 'v' to 'vee' or 'mod' to '20" it doesn't make any difference. If I knew what I was looking for I wouldn't of asked and like I said I did find an Echo. I did find alot of stuff though when I typed in 'heatsink vee'. Which I didn't know excisted untill Simpson said.

I've got a Echo lite with 4 bolt mounts and one of the mounts dee threaded. It'll be nice to have a look at the frames first. Plus I said 'links' not 'pics'. I did search and found nothing what so ever. I said mod not stock. Why are you just here to have a dig at me? Maybe because I prefer vbrakes?

Yeh I am running the Eno of a pair of Echo's. What is going on with Echo stuff??
-
Any one know of any 20" frames that use vee brake's. I know there is a Echo lite with vee's. Links would be good as well. Cheers

The rear wheel, cog, freewheel, cranks, bb are all brand new virtually! It was like it as soon as I put it on. I do look after my bike but I don't know why this is happening. When I spin the freewheel I can see that it is oval and its brand new! But why?
-
I've never found anyone on the forum with the same problem as I have. I've searched and read most of the posts but still no-one. The Eno on the front moves in an oval shape in a way. So the chain goes loose then tight then loose etc etc. I know it's a common problem on 80% of bikes especially with bent sprockets to blame. But why does the Eno do this? It's just a pain in the ass. So i've had my Eno for a month or two and am now selling it just because of this reason.

I'd go with what some of the others said. A second hand bike to start off with would be advisable. Look out for anything with 14mm axles. It's a sign of the bike ain't going to be any good. Don't worry about the seat as it ain't going to be in the way as i'm sure your not leaning back all that way just yet

I'll turn up if I can get the bike working alright.

Are there any Mod frames that feel very street? In the way that they can spin and hop like a bmx at all? A shorter frame maybe.. I'm currently running a Echo lite.
-
Man, I've got some of the Echo cranks. This ain't good to here. What about those CNC echo cranks. Whats the thread like on those? It sounds like all Echo products suck. I'm riding a Echo lite frame. Is it gonna snap on me??

Anyone up for riding Bristol tommoro? Give us a shout. I'll be in Bristol tommoro most of the day.

I wouldn't mind running a vee on the back of my 20". Only problem with running vee's for me is that the levers aren't long enough. I like my levers long. I supose a bmx lever like a tech 77 would be nice but it contains no springs. Anyone tried using a vee with a bmx lever? Just wondered if was possible to get it to work nicely.

Anyone up for riding Bristol at all this weekend? I went last Sunday and damn, it was just so much fun. That was the first time I've been to Bristol on a trials in 3 years maybe. So anyone want to ride just turn up or drop us a mail. 8th Saturday and 9th Sunday. Can someone please move this post to 'Rides' forum please. I didn't realise I am now a full member now. Cheers guys

Whoa! Stay well away from Monty's bmxs. Thats all I shall say. Check out the Monty website. I've not seen the Koxx bmx range. If you want to get started riding bmx buy a second hand one. £300 should get you some alright stuff off ebay. If you got some big money then maybe a Fit or WTP. Some good stuff on the upper range bikes.

I finally got a lock. £15 chain lock, heat treated and all that sort of stuff. However I know what you mean when not trusting a lock. I don't like to leave my bike unless it's guarded by a mate. The reason for the lock is when I go into Tesco for some food when I'm by myself. Even though I'm in there for 5 minutes I still don't like leaving the bike alone. People with one allen key could take most of your bike home with them which ain't good! So I think the rule is, never leave the bike alone for more than 10 minutes even if it's locked up. Only if it's guarded you may take your time to choose which roll/ sandwich/s you want. Cheers guys.

I'm looking into getting a Echo freehub. A Echo rim, Echo sprocket and I've already got some echo cranks. I'm currently running a Viz hub, Viz Sprocket, Viz rim and a Eno freewheel. I'm so fed up with the chain going slack then tight and having it bounce all around! Even the Eno holds nice its such a pain. So your thoughts on my current setup and the new setup... Thanks again!

Cheers guys. Any more help? I found 'manifesto' on tesco.com! The reason I wanted 'trick and stunts' was because its so damn funny. So I will proberly go to Halfords and have a look!

I've looked everywhere for trials dvds. Tarty bikes don't sell them. I've searched this whole place as well but found absolutely nothing, apart from the Onza dvd. I'm looking for Ryan Leech's manifesto and the old skool 'tricks and stunts'. That was a funny video! Any help people?

I'm going to buy myself a nice and safe lock this week. But I don't know which one to get or where to get it from. Who sells them at a reasonable price? I was looking for a cable or chain style with key lock. Although they seem to be heavy, does anyone have a lightweight one that is easy to carry? Where did you buy it from? I haven't had any of my bikes stolen yet. *touches wood*. And don't plan on it either!

What Tyre Pressures Should Be Run On A Tpro?
eskimo replied to fordy's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I'll be quick with another reply, sorry! I run about 20/30 psi on the back, 20 psi on the front. I do like to have the front a little harder than the back. From riding bmx my tyre pressure varies a little as I like my bmx to be 60 psi (rear) and 50 psi (front). See what bounce and grip differences you get from softer/ harder tyres than you currently run. -
Those metal surfaces aren't nice. You should really have not used a fish eye though. Nice nonetheless.
-
You make it sound like its going to be a whole new bike! Maybe a booster on the rear brake and I think your all good to go. If it feels nice to ride then you shouldn't need to upgrade unless your rolling in money.
-
Dude! I'm north of Bristol and I know what you mean about not having people to ride with. I up for riding whenever really if i'm not at work! Just PM me or add me to MSN. I thought Megamo made those saddles. Try Trials-UK for one of those or similar.

Your garden looks pretty sweet for riding. But why are there those 3 barrels in the garden? Nevertheless very cool. Scored 10/10!

Just Got Into A Little Brawl With Some Bmx'ers
eskimo replied to ashby-trials's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I think Rebelistic should have had the last say in the topic. With 100% of the replyers in this forum saying the 'jump destroyers' done wrong, they should of realized that they did wrong and were lucky. Topic end, topic closed?!
