  1. Know its not exactly the answer your looking to find, but it might help all the same in some sort of way lol. I went from a Pashley Ghz , 0 bb rise, 1045 wheelbase to a 0 bb rise but 1090 Echo Control. Personally i would describe the Pashley as being a "fun" bike as it was always really flicky and enabled technical "funny" joined up runs/moves whereas the Control is more serious and i ride it purley to go bigger and further really for progression purposes almost. Pashley = fun, Control = serious.
  2. Just had the same trouble a few weeks back. Put a topic up, and as expected the mechanic maniacs helped out (cheers!) and so now my hub is on the other side of the world being fixed saving me £50 or£100! 'King were very helpfull, simple and clear, after a few emails too and from Adrian Knapp at info@chrisking.com he sorted me out with prices, shipping details, addresses Hasn't cost me anything to get it repaired other than £16 to post it over there. This is what i did to mine; [attachmentid=7927] I recommend you dont touch it, as i tryed to do (i tryed to undo the axle mangling it abit, and still 'King said it was ok ) Then email ^^^ 'King explaining the situation and im sure they'l sort you out with a new axle.
  3. More of a reason to come over Yeh i do have an 04 control but the CK is away being fixed, so no bike for another week or so. It was really fun, eventfull too (i need to catch more crashs on camera ). Kial's echo is mint so nice ride! Jayson's tops it though as Kials has the dodgy back brake which randomly on and off doesnt hold...bit of tinkering is needed Cheers for the comments

I've got the same problem with my race face prodigy cranks and dh bb, on my jump bike that is really cant figure out what it is they sit nicely on the bb too and nothings loose bb wise so its puzzling. Although age could come into it, my crankset is about a year and a half maybe 2 years old though now...

  11. Thanks and the rubbish is there because its a land reclemation site, the best example to show the extent of the project is in the last pic of "my old mod days" well where all those rocks are in the backround and behind all that used to be sea about 15-18 years ago, now its got a 10screen cinema, a new harbour, and generally public park type places to chill out in and they make great riding spots Yeh i know dead impressive

Money is an issue atm Time till im riding again compared to money, i'd much rather be riding ALOT sooner than waiting to raise/save a £100.

Hi, today hasnt been too good ive already bent a wheel to the point of no return and after a few snappy sounds near the end of the ride today i was concerned, so looking down i saw splits in the very end of the axle, well the axle bit that sits just beneath the lockring. Took it apart tonight and found this, well pieces... [attachmentid=7568][attachmentid=7569] So how much to make it "whole" again ? Can anyone point me in the direction of a new axle ? Edit: Seeing as i can apparently not worry about the jaggered end bit, could i just modify that whole section (see red part in picture) so its half the size it normally is (grind/saw/file the broken parts off to the point where it "dips" down abit in the picture so it ends up like a ring) but still so it sits in its usual place inside on the axle hopefully emliminating any "play". Then unscrew the remanding end cap part off the axle (where the 5mm goes in), and buy a new end cap for £14? [attachmentid=7570]

Today i put a few things on just out of interest to their strength, durabiltiy etc and obviously this wheel just wasn't up to it Lesson learnt taday is that if somethings not broken, dont fix it [attachmentid=7562][attachmentid=7563] New vid soon peeps, look out for it
