  1. If you like your bike then thats all that matters really, love it and ride it...you shouldn't be so insecure about it that you need other peoples comments to boost your "bike moral"... ...and yeh its not bad (personally really like the short 05s), looks pretty heavy duty / raggable. Now go ride, pleassse.
  2. I wouldn't run anything more than 80mm as not raise the bb too too much and you're going to need something reasonably light - Rockshox Reba's ? Fox XC Float's ?
  3. Huh? sacism? meh, just thought i'd throw it in...might be usefull to someone/somewhen/somewhere
  4. Nar hes falling off fo sho Are they your pictures? If you get what i mean
  5. Damn straight Mitcho you whore keep your wallet in your pants
  6. I had clear hosing awhile ago, got a hunch it was from Normans actually. Also brought some more the other day, but that was for some fuel lines. Pretty sure a DIY store will sort you out, not much help really but you'l need something smaller in diameter than 7mm, imagine 4/5mm would be about right...take a barb down to a store and "trial and error" some tubing to get a decent fit
  7. You have the 08 I believe, Alex's is an 07 - tis why they don't look the same
  8. Is that Max T attemping the rail gap or just dropping ? did anyone do it ? Good pics, throughout all the topics
  9. Bet the video will be with some mahoosive fish eye though... I think its 6ft maybe just over, still maybe a freak accident there - funny stuff still Edit: Ok, lol, the first picture didn't do it justice. Not bad
  10. 10/10 for observation P.s he's right.
  11. In a sense I'm the same as John - in what he said earlier Tom... I make a judgement call for everything, subconsciously or not...and yes I don't wear a helmet sometimes for stuff, but its that "stuff"/moves that I determine as low risk things where the worst outcome isn't, in comparison to other moves, "that bad". And when I'm filming/go out to have a "mad days riding" where I'l be pushing the limits I'l always wear a helmet.
  12. Riding was good, as I expected But he should be wearing a helmet...not only for is own sakes if one of his imaginative, flowy, aggressive lines goes abit tits up, but because hes a recognised, respected rider and some novices/the people he inspires are going to take his example... ...and we all like to know/know how certain moves/lines can end up well, but those times when certain bits don't go to plan?! Fair enough he has the confidence in his riding not to wear a helmet - but the people who look up to him might not have that same confidence, or at worst "false confidence" because "John Shrewsbury can do it without a helmet - so can I" attitude. I'd rather see everyone in every disapline wearing a helmet so that that there isn't this "fashion" thing with helmets or the case here of not wearing it. Other than my helmet rant I enjoyed the video, well editied, enough riding/substance to the vid - street and natty/comps , and good music...only wished it was longer.
  13. Alcohol induced post ?! Either way, best of luck with the weather, the riding, and the comp
  14. Nice one Dave Managed to keep it pretty interesting and fairly varied - like it, alot... Ben Ps. That last attempt at the end was sketchy
  15. He'l be back on his great all-rounder form before you know it
  16. Thats like a fookin' video teaser - so dissapointing... Less no sleep, more pictures
