Riding was below average in terms of the standards you've set yourself with your previous vids, so for me i didn't like that vid. Editing was fine, just right, and the music as usual was interesting and "individual". I've seen you ride in person before at a Bracken Rocks national way back in April? maybe March? i forget, but if you can take some time to highlight all your natty riding skills and even some of the good street stuff (personally think you ride natural alot better, in terms of an entertaining video) such as the wall and close rail to hook/swap/pigeon whatever people call it, then your on to another classy video - like your old ones, but like i said, this one just doesn't cut it.

BBC I-Player I remember someone talking about "Tv Catch up" but i think thats finished now...best bet is ^^^ I'd imagine

Nice Looks like you've taken some time to edit and in general good postioning of the camera (along with some use of a tripod? and/or steady camera-man hands lol) Good progressive riding too... Maybe tone the music down, I admit it wasn't half as bad as it could have been..but bare in mind the video is going to be viewed by all sorts of people with different tastes and music can make or break a video. You come under the category "next vid - worth watching"

From personal experience, yeah, i'd wait it out for another week or two to give it a chance, before replacing cables etc.

Pretty entertaining and a reasonably good rider. The filming had way too much fisheye which just makes stuff so over exagerated IMO, and ruins the video some what. Edit: Ps. What/who is Henbikes ?

Griptape (skateboard stuff) in your usual/ideal places your going to use, eg. side of the pallets for sidehops etc... Getting the stuff off though could be a problem, but im sure some wise spark will suggest a solvent that'l do the job.

Thats actually not THAT much land! Considering some of the Trials/Motorbike trials shows i've helped or organised myself over here, (by the looks of it) you've got about 25m length, 20m width on the right and 10m width on the left. The smallest space i've squeezed 80pallets, 2cars, 2skips and 10 tractor tyres (and many smaller obstacles to link things together) into was if i remember correctly 55m by 30m, now seeing as this isn't a temporary show and the space must house alot bigger obstacles as someone has previously shown and must well thought out/planned enough (in terms of making lines compatable for every level of rider with limited space and supplys), i'd suggest squeezing abit more land out of your council... On the other hand if you know it won't be used great deal, maybe the current land is sufficent. Off the topic now, but i was born and lived in Chelmsford, Essex so was thinking of going back there with my car and bike in the back and seeing as Braintree is just north i think i might pop up for a couple of days/weekend for a ride. I'l get in touch nearer the time if i'm making the trip. Ben.

Tarty for anything trials specific, never been to anyone else. And my local shop i work at for the trade price stuff, tubes, gloves, lights, or if we've got anything special like the 08 avid's or heavily discounted stuff

I have no idea, unorganised, unreliable Easyjet screwed it up. The bike didn't even leave the "secrurity - over sized baggige" area at Jersey check in!! Same weight, size and contents as mine... He got it back when we returned to Jersey as it never went anywhere!

Twas lil Chris from over here, me and him travelled up there except when we got to East Midlands Airport his bike had been left in Jersey! Big thanks to John and Robbie Peacock for letting Chris alternatively use Robbie's Hydroxx Ben.

Haha, lil chris...yeh i know him. Lives over here with me in Jersey He is a lil' good yeh lol, very motivated aswell, probably why hes progressed as far as he has - certainly got time on his side to go alot further too! Quite a good competetion rider...one to look out for... Ben.

My friend's cousin is the same although alittle older i think, he's able to ride without stabilisers and enjoys rolling off pallets, up and down hills and generally over anything bumpy From seeing him "ride" and in theory i think teaching your grandson the basics such as standing up on the pedals, later, developing confidence in rolling off pavements and pointers like telling him to hold on very tight to the handlebars and how to react to a crash/recover from falling off from a crash would be helpfull to him as i imagine his riding is very "trial and error" at the moment (pad him up and get a decent fitting helmet is a good idea). As he progresses showing him the stages of pulling back on the bars to get the front wheel up even if its only a few inches would be helpfull as a fundamental move in any bike disapline that would develop over time. Showing him any bike films would probably give him some inspiration, yes on a very degraded level compared to yourself or I but something might click in his mind even through his fixed eyes and blank face. Keeping his bike in check would be important, checking brakes, tyre pressure, loose bolts, "spinning" grips, just little things that would affect how the bike feels and affect his learning curve. Upgrading his bike every 18months (give or take) will give him a good "bike advantage" in terms of size, parts and maintenance Generally abit of rough writing there but hopefully some is usefull
