Thanks. Those drops seem to have that impression on everyone I do wear my trusty 3year old lid, and have appreciated wearing it on a few occasions... Glad you liked the vid Coolllllll Glad you thought it was different, its good being different - in a good way. Some moves do take some effort, but i do my best to keep things tidy Compiling all the new clips tonight/sat night, with a few more spots to film i have in mind on Sunday, then the NEW VID will be out...

  6. Good video Unsure on the music, gives the impression of "touching inappropiately" disguised (sp) with car talk.... Top riding from the lil fella though, one to look out for in the future...

Yeah i've tryed my best to keep the riding up Maybe one day u'l come visit again... See you round I have every intention in keeping my health lol, I did it because i thought it was possible, therorectically anyway beforehand, after the first attempt i admit double wheel landing phased me abit but, try try and try again... Bike is nice thanks, overall its shorter than my Triton and has a shorter back end, so its pretty nice on the backwheel and reasonably flicky too - how i like it I like to vary the feel of my bike whether its running the tyres abit flatter or changing the bars its all entertaining and challenging for me, aswell as giving me benefits in certain moves...my bike is always changing, and changing back, and changing again I don't rim things though - coming into my 4th year riding soon, so practice makes perfect The Gu does ride lovely, who ever says a decent bike (Koxx being on the extreme end) doesn't help you progress is wrong full stop. A good, strong well maintained bike will always benefit your riding... I'm hoping you swearing at me is a good thing lol, glad you enjoyed it

Thanks and i think i know what you mean when you talk about the "outclassing" - bare in mind this video was shot and editied in 3 days so everything isn't going to be top top stuff and therefore some stuff will look "out classed" by others. Some things that looked good on film and i thought would suit certain parts of the video went in the video just down to varying the video and helping the footage "click" with the song. And not everything on the street is sized perfectly for me to perform my best moves on so maybe some of it doesn't as good as other bits.... but thanks for the input I'l take longer to film the next one, making sure everything passes and fits into a high catergory of riding I'm not sure how big the drop was exactly, i could take a rough guess - pressuming Tom (the guy standing at the bottom) is 5'10 (average sorta height) i'd "guesstimate" the drop is somewhere between 11ft and 13ft - like i said no real idea!..... I'd definatly say for certain its bigger than a street lampost, you may ask why if you like but i'm tired of typing at the moment lol.... It does look alot bigger yeh, and an extra 5ft when looking from my eye level down.... For example the big big drop is more than head height above the drop at 57-59ishsecs in to the vid.

Cheers I try to do my best with the filming, but i quite often find myself riding alone and are in need of a bigger tripod for my camera to get the perfect views/clips imo... Drops in my book are fine, if you don't do them often and when you do them there on film thats fine, so your minimalising the damage they do to your bike by doing them very rarely. Personally i don't think they cause too much damage (pulling spokes through the rim from sidehops and gaps is a bigger issue for me - hence my eyeletted Revell rear rim), and as to why people do drops...i strongly pressume its for the same reason why everyone rides - for the rush. I think drop gaps put a fair bit more force through the bike in general compared to drops, but... Standing on top of those drops and looking down was fooking scary, but exciting, just running through your mind what its gunna look like on film, how to go about controlling the bike, the landing etc and personally for the achievement of doing it, and having that massive hang time in the air as the ground comes inevibately (sp) closer then trying to land it (as i succesfully didn't on 2 occasions as you saw lol and only just managed to keep my limbs on the bike for a very short amount of time on the 3rd attempt) is like a said, such a big rush! and overwhelming sense of achievement that comes with most moves in Trials. I admit theres still a great deal of achievement in doing your biggest sidehop, static backhweel or cleaning the hardest "natty" line you can mark out for yourself, but i guess it's what you as a viewer values more in riding - like whether you like to see lots of power controlled into riding such as Watson's, Tunnicliffe's, CLS or TRA etc or a more technical approach such as Stan Shaw or Felix, or a technical, yet powerfull and smooth approach such as Ali C, Andrei Burton, Benito, Kenny.... Basically translates/boils down to natural or street really now i come to think of it, with some "inbetweeness". I suppose i try to ride inbetween, and even enjoy riding inbetween which i guess is the important bit..... hang on, wayyyyy off the point, but won't delete it as that was some long typing (for me) Point: drops will always be around as a "wow factor" and to "indulge" in that massive falling rush to the ground every so often...if thats what your into P.s Thanks for the compliment on Bike and vid.
  10. I've given the idea some thought too, well not alot but i've got a few aims and "backwards" riding clips for a new vid; (idea taken from Ali C/Danny Mac) rail to rail to rail....etc then back hop rail to rail to rail etc or rail to rail then 180 back to the last rail (so your facing the opposite way you came) and gap forwards to the next and finish the line or 180 again to face you the way you came (180 to 180 backwards could turn alittle hairy after the first 180 though...) on a drop (not sure how high i can push it yet) face the drop as normal then 180 so your backs to the drop and either drop backwards into fakey or 180 in the air to land facing normally again (problem is dropping to fakey, if your too vertical you instinctively lock the brake sending smashing backwards either to you outstretched arms or worse - head, but i guess if you dont lock the brake this would just happen anyway, soooooo risky move all in all lol) 180 gap (keeping it on the back wheel) to quick 180 landing front wheel first jamming the front brake, wheelswap down to rear wheel and gap (backhop) back over the gap (depending on how big the gap is, to backwards manual?!) and not really a backwards move but, pushing the 90 gap to front wheel alittle alot further, 540 to front wheel? I imagine the momentium of the spinning wouldn't give you the best of landing though Enywho those are my ideas for tonight done.

Cheers dude, the gap at 2:11 was rather large yeah! So last min too, battery was running out, i was knackered - it was actually done on my way back home which still involved going up a hill Glad you liked the drops too! And my bike says thanks, but i'm taken. Your video wasn't too bad atall either Funny seeing someone so young progressing so well, in a good way keep it up.

Cheers, bike is running nice yeh. I rarely do drops like that, to obviously minimalise the damage they can do, to me and my bike but I thought they'd be a good "wow factor" to the vid so in they went...glad you enjoyed it Thanks man I aim to entertain lol, really happy you, and everyone, seems to like it Thanks Yeh ridings alot of fun (as everyone should know lol) ,even just pissing round...thanks for the comment on the tune, haven't had much input on that 'till now. Haha, glad you really like the vid' and my bike I'm not trying to break anything! My bike does get alot of maintainance just so it can put up with it though

Cheers dude, i admit your XTP helped alittle by no means atall. Therefore nooooooooo credit to you sir And I'l do my best to keep progressing and riding well, and of course film everything along the way....

To push yourself I guess you sometimes have to beat yourself up abit too along the way. I'm aiming to vary my videos, so, somewhere along the line - sure, I'l do a natty video. Aswell as invovling some more technical street, other than "street bashing" as you so put it lol Cheers Danny Nice to have a complient from you, the guy who's riding has recently over then last year exploded P.s. You probably haven't realised that i've ridden with you before - Bracken Rocks National way back in April 07 organised by Fred Savage, in the grass car park, the couple of rocks next to the tree in the middle. We where gapping to front at this really awkward angle and rolling down the lil rock, I always thought of you as quite a quiet person after that - your videos proved me wrong Maybe I'l ride with you another day... Lol, yeh the drops were abit of a push for me, glad you enjoyed the video though Back again...lol Cheers again for the compliments

Cheers Tommo My head?...It hurts...abit alot. Will have to include that lil bail from tonight somewhere in the next vid Cheers for the reply
  19. Nooooo wayyyy Awesome bike! Amazing to see someone other than a sponsored rider, or a test ride in a mag having one of those, their sweet as fook...enjoy that
  20. Jsy Ben

    Ben Girdwood

Cheers Chrissy So u'd like more natural? Tis pretty hard to include most natural, to that sorta song aswell but i guess its do-able in a future, more chilled out video And yeh the (3rd) clip of that drop - the one in the main bit of the video was the only time i managed to stay on the bike! But i absolutely slammed my ass on my rear wheel lol and jumped off almost straight away.

Hey, Now i've got a video camera and a new frame i've been quite eager to get some videos out... Although i'm not entirely happy with it due to some angles and some editing issues (slight freezes at the start of some clips) and some, well, not perfectly performed stuff (abit of a perfectionist when it comes to posting things for screwtiny (sp) Enywho, #1 of what i hope to be many... Constructive critism, good + bad points, generally anything you'd like to see more of / be better in the next vid would be very much appreciated Enjoy.
  22. Jeff Lenosky still holds the bunnyhop record... I think.
  23. Link didn't go specifically to where you wanted, but found the brake and it's a copy of the Tetro (crappy Tetro which wouldn't last more than a month at good performance). I'd leave it well alone, you get what you pay for (Koxx being an exception sometimes lol)
  24. Sunny Channel Islands! Well better than the mainland
