  1. The mega pixels only correspond to the still images not video quality. Best thing to get is a mini dv camcorder as this gives you good quality and maximum fps. Much better than those sd cameras.
  2. You have recieved a new feedback. Below are details concerning the new feedback. Type: Good Rating SummaryExcellent sale, nice and quick Given By: strat-trials You were the: Seller Date: 1190104890

    Cramp

What causes cramp when I go riding?? Sometimes I get none at all, or like tonight I get it in my arms and feet and calves. What governs if I get it or not?? Cheers
  5. 20 inch bikes are not for children. There are two different classes of bikes like everyone has said, 20(mod) and 26(stock) both of which there are advantages and disadvantages. Best bet as everyone with an ounce of sense will tell you is to ride a couple. Try out your LBS and see if they have a mod to try, i'm sure they'll let you hop on it in the shop or pavement outside the shop. I've ridden both and got to admit to enjoying 26 the most. But thats just opinion. Its your choice!
  6. I was sure i heard someone say that an ashton uses the same as an echo pure 05 or a control 05?? Post a pic of the hanger (frint and back) and if anyone knows they can let you know. Was sure its the same as an echo one though.
  7. Avid ultimate lever Avid ultimate caliper Animal bikes cable(same as linear slick) no grind rhyno lite cnc heatsink v reds 24 inch
  8. I have the same set-up ish on my bike and it never goes slack.
  9. I run a high roller on the back of mine (2.5) that i got from wiggle.com for not too much. And the front i use a schwalbe racing ralph as they are super lightweight. Both of which are available from wiggle now i think The racing ralph is really light with super thin sidewalls though so i wouldn't use it on the back if you run low pressures
  10. Shimano levers have a really nice feel to the lever blade, a bit slimmer and fit your finger nicer. Also if you are going to go shimano, the xt ones are lighter!!!And last for ever, i had one for about 4 years.
  11. Quite obviously its got to be an avid ultimate. They are soooo nice and definately worth the money!!!
  12. My pc is way more powerful than any mac graphics wise and processor wise macs now use intel ones but the real world performance difference isn't really noticable. So many people listen to those annoying adverts about hows macs are better. Not the case. Try playing Oblivion on a mac, then tell me that your mac is faster. Macs are just as unstable as pc's, a lot of my friends work as graphic designers and they moan no end about them crashing and freezing. Alright so your basic pc is a pile of poo (anything from dixons and pcworld),it'd be like comparing a dabomb to a top end trials bike. But you put a decent pc with the same parts as a mac against each other and i'm sure you wont see much if any difference between the two. Virus wise, most homes have pcs in them so of course there are going to be more viruses on pc's,theres no point making a virus thats not going to do anything, it'd be like releasing an 18inch frame for trials, its just not going to work!!!! Either way you look at it they are both good at what they do,both serve their purpose and this argument will never end! BTW got your mac for the graphics power?? Your Mac spec:- Intel GMA 950 graphics processor with 64MB of DDR2 SDRAM shared with main memory My pc's ATI x1950xtx:- 650MHz core; 2GHz effective memory; 90nm; PCI-E; 512MB GDDR4; DirectX 9.0. Unless you got a quadro fx card in your mac then you aren't going to beat it for graphics power. Dont make me laugh
  13. athlon 64 x2 3800+ clocked at 2.5ghz per core 2gb corsair ram 2 250bg sata hdd in raid asus an8 sli premium mb ati radeon x1950xtx graphics card creative xfi fatality sound card antec 900 case hyper type r psu 19 inch widescreen moniter and 32 inch lcd running at the same time (dual screen) sata dvd-r drive(cant remember the make) Thats my moddest rig, plays games nicely and good for video editing (very fast encoding and write to disc times). Someone organised a css tournament awhile ago for people on the forum, anyone up for doing that again sometime???
  14. Cant beat raceface isis turbine LP's with a filthy ard guard. Best crank combo ever and far more style than all this echo, adamant deng stuff.
  15. Or bash in the closest next size up imperial, I found there is normally an allen key in that size range that is similar. Or maybe even a .5mm bigger allen key and use that. Failing that cut a deep groove in the bolt head and use anything long and thin that wont benid in the groove to un-do it. Other than that drill it out and heli coil a new thread or use a bigger bolt
  16. Best thing to look for is a mini-dv camcorder with a firewire or ilink out. These will connect to your computer via a firewire socket and give you decent quality. From my experience (media degree, filming bmx, assistant manager of jessops) solid state cameras aren't as good as mini-dv. I would avoid ebay like the plague for video cameras. A lot of the cameras on there are dodgy imports. For about 180 you could get a fairly good canon one or fairling that look at sony. Those two makes just have a better feel about them and work. Any q's just pm me Cheers Tom
  17. If I happened to have a 203mm disc that i wanted to use would i be able to just buy the bigger adapter to go with?Even though its only originally a 160mm caliper.
  18. I have an avid juicy 7 rear disc brake. Is there any way in which i can use it on the front. I know the leaver is able to swap between either sides but just need to know if I can change the removable part of the bracket so that it will work on the front, or if there is an other bracket i can buy to adapt it. Cheers Tom
  19. I'm going down south to Devon over the weekend and taking my bike with me, just wondered if anyone knew any good bike shops down south that I might be able to pop to to get an isis bb for my ashton et?? Halfords never seem to have any having tried all my local ones, plus they always charge too much!! I tried googling it but just got lots of online ones. Cheers Tom
  20. But surely as soon as the chain has tension through it the chain will straighten itself out!!
  21. I used to have mine with 100mm stem and 10 deg rise. Then some azonic risers with a 2 inch rise. A friend of mine who now rides it runs an Azonic ORS stem of about 90mm slightly lower rise and the same bars. They just feel nice in that combination, good for manuals, bunnyhops but also nice on the back wheel.
  22. If I were you I'd check the lockring holding the free wheel together, with an ACS, because of the way it freewheels its easy for them to come undone. I know you have a tensile ffw but just make sure its done up tight (not the freewheel onto the cranks thread but the ring that holds the two halves of the freewheels together). Happened once with my eno even though it threads the opposite way it still managed to come loose. Tom
  23. If anyone wants to check it out here is the URL http://www.passionbmx.co.uk/ Wouldn't take much to get it going i dont think. If anyone that wanted to submit articles for proof reading did so I'm sure a few people could put it together fairly easily!!!And it would only need to come out once monthly,or every 2 months.
