  1. You miss understand the point sir What I am saying is what you see is all that matters. To us trials riders the difference between, a massive 50" sidehop and a reasonable 47" sidehop, is HUGE. But visually it makes very little difference really. That's where I draw the line of technically difficult. My idea of spectacular riding is more along the lines of a high drop gap or a big free pedal gap. Something which is really a spectacle to watch. I'm not saying make an entire video of drop gaps etc but they do play an important role. I see a lot of riders releasing videos which have nothing which would really fill my elasticated pants to the brim with crud, and I think that's a bad thing for trials in general.
  2. If you did that it would just be slack at a different point. Don't worry about it, it's been a minor problem in all the time I've been riding but it's never interfered in a big way.
  3. When I put pace I didn't necessarily mean do it fast, I meant you've got to know when to pick it up a bit and when it's ok to drawn out a section. I see a lot of videos with long boring starts which I generally skip past
  4. Song - MOST important Drama - The video has to build well and have enough of a mix of bails etc to keep you on your toes. Where's the fun when you KNOW they will land everything? Pace - Very important to prevent extreme boredom Spectacular riding - Video's are about what you can see, not what is hard/technically difficult, take that into account
  5. I really wanted to hate that, but I don't
  6. Good riding but I found the editing made it really dragggggg on
  7. Nice one A lot of riders would be proud of that
  8. Echo parts can't live with them, can't live without them
  9. I would honestly go for a full build second hand bike if I where in your position and could afford it. For around £400 you can pick up what is the equivalent of over £1000 from a shop AND it will likely be set up with modern parts which you might not be aware of. If you try to build one out of parts that are lying around you're inevitably going to end up with something less than purpose built
