Where's good to watch this season, without access to SKY and preferable avoiding Channel 4?
  2. It really depends how this year at work goes. Operation "Mature" is now in full effect and I need to stop spending money on the car and buy a house so that I can do what you've done - get a garage and a second car! Easier said than done in the Berkshire/Hampshire/Surrey, as a 2 bed house with no drive way round here would be £200k+, let alone a 3 bed with a drive & garage, which is what I'd be looking for. Then there's a good chance I'll either do something else with the Clio (fully stripped and ITBs), or potentially sell the Clio and get a real fixer upper and go all out project, start off with something totalled, and rebuild and modify to suit. Really I'd like to do a few track days this year too.
  3. Had the map on the Clio adjusted, feels great!
  4. Yeah, made 183 first time I had it rolled. Not worried about the power, mainly the AFR at the higher RPMs. It's pretty lean and it definitely feels more powerful with the cams. Other Clios on the day were making there expected power, and mine was not, so thhink there's more to do. It has got me really interested in mapping though, so maybe down the line I will buy a cheap car which maps easily and teach myself.
  5. Had the Clio dyno'd this morning... somewhat disappointed to say the least. Here is why; The positive is that it has another mapping session booked in for the 13th of March, will will sort out that AFR and hopefully get me to the 190bhp I wanted.
  6. I'm heading to BPW on the 30th March, there's currently still uplift spaces. http://www.bikeparkwales.com/uplift?date=2017-3-30 If anyone else books let me know!
  7. That's what she said.
  8. Sounds ace! Looking forward to seeing it at TFTD3
  9. So having had all my belts, pulleys, tensioners, etc, changed along with full service and all new seals all over the engine, just last week, my alternator has packed up. Woohoo! Will be ordering a new one tomorrow and fitting Saturday, until then, I have to take the battery out of my car every night, and charge it in my flat, hahaha. Until then, I'm basically running a loss, and I have about 3 worth of battery with headlights before it's out!
  10. Bilsteins all the way. Rear coilover is nice, but on the whole I don't think the build quality of GAZ is up there with the Bilsteins. Other option, and slightly more expensive, are BC coilovers, which have adjustable dampening. You can also pick your spring rates if you wanted.
  11. Nice, will look forward to your experiences with it, as that would be my choice if I do go for ITBs down the line... Shame I'm so far, that sounds like a laugh, hahaha.
  12. Interested in the ME221, assume it's the Clio PnP version for cable throttle?
  13. No dyno graph as yet, going to Surrey Rolling Road for a real check, because I had it checked there before, so I can now get a true before and after. Feels strong though.
  14. Picked my car up this afternoon, after having the cams and low slip diff put in, it's pretty awesome.
  15. I really want a BremboBremboBremRace battery, I heard they are good when combined with a gundapter or two.
  16. Dan Potter is doing the lot.
  17. Got everything ready for the new year!

I'd The Hulk to move to Mercedes. Just needs to tear up that Renault contract. I think Verstappen will stay with Red Bull as with the larger tyres, Red Bull might be a challenge for the Mercs. Now, we just need Rosberg, Button and Massa to get involved in some endurance sports car racing...
  19. Easy! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RENAULT-MEGANE-225-TURBO-SPORT-TROPHY-SILVER-MOT-QUAIFE-TTV-REMAP-R26-/401231819604?hash=item5d6b47b354:g:mCMAAOSwNRdX9Qu7
  20. I've had Blisteins fitted for nearly 2 years! Those are Cat Cam 438s Engine table looks ace!
  21. That's a quick car purchase, one hour between posts! I have two items in transit. One... Two... Exciting.
  22. My dad had the same problem with a Lotus Excel, I have fond memories of going through a car wash and being sat in the back seats which filled with water and gave you a soggy arse! I take the piss out of that car a lot, but I actually loved it.
