  1. All this work you're doing to your car and you'll still be slower than the Clios and some hairdressers!
  2. That is one area Civics are better than the Clios. The Clio box/linkage doesn't get many trick aftermarket parts, so you're stuck with a scenic shifter and a few brass bushes.
  3. Been a long time coming, but I'm finally a member of the 1000 pound club. 110kg bench, 150kg squat, 195kg deadlift @ 90kg Happy!
  4. 1. dann27077070770950505 2. Tarty 3. Mark W 4. Mike (+1, if needed) 5. Sam Kidney 6. Alistair Hamilton 7. Haz 8. 9. 10.
  5. Nice! It's such a good feeling when you get to a new full plate milestone. I've started to do dead hangs to stretch out my lower back after squats and deadlifts. Literally just hang from a bar for 30 seconds, rinse and repeat and my back feels much looser the next day.
  6. We can definitely get 10 people, so just book it and they will come.
  7. Enjoying this thread of late, lots of good stuff going on with peoples cars.
  8. Apparently I'm a manager now, so basically every day of the week is holiday, and as such I can do any date.
  9. The drive down is also quite surreal, being on the Eurotunnel with any car you can imagine, then blasting down the motorway being overtaken by said cars. You also get to sticker your car up, if you're that way inclined...
  10. 3 times. Normally camp in Bleu Sud or Nord. I've been to every part of the track you can spectate from and some that you can't. You need a radio to listen to the commentary, and a few beers along with your mates to pass the time. The track isn't boring for the part you can spectate from, there's so much overtaking everywhere because of the different classes, and you get to see all of it because the you have a whole day to do it. And if your sneaky then you can find spots like this, about 10 feet from the cars at nearly 200mph, peering through the armco... Not sure what to expect from N24, but thought it could be fun.
  11. Endurance racing is the best, Le Mans is definitely an experience for anyone with a vague interest in live motorsport. That being said, there's a good chance I'm going to N24 this year.
  12. Can't see that link, but I'm going to guess, no. I took the linkage off the selector rod, took the clamp off the linkage, hacksawed 10mm off the linkage, and hammered it further onto the selector rod to move the stick back.
  13. Saw the Pop on FB Jardo, bit of a shitter, hope the occupants in the car were OK and the you can get her rolling again. I finally got under the car and shortened the gear linkage the other day, moved the stick and inch or so back, much nicer.
  14. Just built a new PC a few weeks ago, loving it atm. NZXT S340 in black Intel i7 6700K Asus Z170-A Mobo NZXT Kraken x61 16gb DDR4 Fury - 2133Mhz EVGA 980 Ti Hybrid EVGA G.2 750W PSU 480GB Corsair SSD Absolutely flies, maxing out Fallout 4 -1080P @ 75 FPS and it's not even close to max GPU usage.
  15. We're going to get something in the calendar for next year. Maybe if we actually plan something, it will happen. Looks like an epic drive, shame it's about 4 hours away from me, I'll spend a few days up there some time, maybe throw in Anglesea while I'm there...
  16. He's got two already, so it would be a bit of an effort. Next time, though.
  17. My cousin is driving at Bedford on the 12th, for my birthday my parents have given me money to join him but it's fully booked. Gutted.
  18. Car only passed it's MOT didn't it?! Loving the Clio at the moment, so much so I got pulled over by the 5-0 yesterday. A stern telling off and I was on my way, but first time in 7 years of driving and that was my first run in with the law.
  19. I missed it, then had to re read like 3 pages to see if I was stupid.
  20. Had my Pirelli PZero Neros for 2 years and 15000 miles and like them enough to be having 4 new ones fit on Saturday. Good all rounders really and not as steep as the Michelins.
